This is the families to go place for Mexican! I'm from California so nothing compares to what we got back home. But, the staff and the vibe of the place always keeps making us come back. It's tucked away in the back, so hard to find for some people. Just follow the road and pass the hotels and you will see it. If you keep going back, even the regulars are fun to watch during special nights. I would definitely recommend the puff taco...something different and the tres leches cake is amazing!!It's worth it to keep coming back because the staff is awesome!!

I eat here every time I'm in town no issues foods always great service is always good. Depending on your mood always check to see what day they're running their drink specials. I cannot speak to sitting in the dining room I've always said at the bar.
My husband and I traveled from Ocala to Pensacola for work. We finished our last job around 10 pm and we were starving. We found El Paso and saw that they closed at 11. We arrived at 10:15 and they looked like they were closing down so my husband asked if we could eat. Our the gentleman asked us to wait a moment while he checked with the kitchen and staff. Honestly, we thought we’d have to grab McDonalds or something but to our appreciation we were welcomed in. We ordered quickly and ate delicious, semi authentic Mexican food. My husband is Mexican and for him to not complain about our food is something. The atmosphere was chill and the frozen Margaritas were AWESOME. I only say ‘semi authentic’ because my husband jokes that if we aren’t grinding corn for the tortillas it isn’t real. Seriously though, the food was delicious and the service was great. Will definitely be back if we’re ever in the area again.
Best Mexican food I've found since moving to Florida and I have tried several restaurants and food trucks. The fajitas were sizzling for several minutes after arriving at the table. Everything tasted delicious. Our server Rafa was very attentive and wonderful. I will be back soon. We've already talked about making this our weekly lunch spot!
Do not order to go. We just ordered for lunch today at work. 4 people ordered chips and queso and they gave us 2 orders with 1 bag of chips. Maybe they thought we could share but we are in different departments and not eating at same time. The price was the same even though it wasn't 4 separate dishes. And it really wasn't that great. We will order from a different restaurant next time.

Stumbled upon this place by accident and was very happy! Great food, great drinks, friendly staff and live music, what more could you ask for? Check this place out if you haven’t, I will be back! 10/10
Great ? food and best margaritas
Friendly Mexican restaurant back behind University Mall. Good, generic Mexican food, pretty typical for the area. The Mexican cheeseburger is surprisingly good, and the all-the-time 2 for 1 margaritas go well with any meal. They have daily meal specials on the wall above the hostess' stand, but they start at 3 and we are usually there for lunch.
