Ordered a hamburger and French fries. The French fries tastes like they were fried in Old cooking oil. The hamburger was like some one put pieces of hamburger together and then fried it. The bun was falling apart. My granddaughter got the Kraft Mac and Cheese. When it came it was some thicken mac and cheese. The waitress said they ran out of Kraft so they substituted it with several cheeses and macaroni. Tasted horrible. I will never go back to Dennys. I now understand why they were not busy.
Denny's is usually a reliable breakfast restaurant. Today's experience wasn't as positive as usual. The wait time for getting the food after placing the order was rather long. My English muffin was hard, almost too hard to eat. The pancakes my guests ordered were good but not hot when they came out. I am guessing that the problem has a lot to do with staffing. I hope this problem is resolved soon at Denny's on 9 Mile and frankly at all restaurants and stores
In the area on my honeymoon and was looking for a good breakfast location. This Denys didn't have enough love on Google. The staff was great, the service was great, and the food was really good. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor, give them a shot!
Food was okay. The onions I requested IN the Hash browns. We're grilled ? and dumped on top of the hash browns.(Waffle house, always scores an A for hash browns.) But The country fried steak was room temp. Not too tasty. Plain tasting.The pan cakes were awesome!?My husband's egg omelet was good. SERVICE was thru the roof! The ONE waitress was hustling! She was the Only reason for 4 ⭐
Worst service ever. Went for lunch on mothers day. Got seated. Placed our order around 1230pm. I asked for hot tea and was given a cup with lipstick on it. She said she would bring me an extra tea bag with a small tea pot of hot water. Waited about 15 min before that came. We placed our food order. After 45 min still no found. She said they should have told us it would take that long for the food. Several tables around us came in after us and were served within 15 minutes. We finally asked the waitress about our order said she would check on it. Time goes by again and she finally comes back stating they lost our order will get it ordered right away. After 10 minutes no food. The waitress came back offered to comp our drinks if we wanted to leave. After another 5 minutes, still no food. We decided to leave. Asked for a manager. Informed her about the poor service we had received. She did not even offer any type of compensation. Did not even apologize for the bad service. That will be the last time we will ever go there. Just because the other tables were big parties does not mean you have to ignore the small tables. If I could give this restaurant a 0 I would. Another thing, the seats in the booths sink in, padding is gone. They are lumpy and hard. They need to be replaced. Well this our story. Hope someone in management will do something about it.
My boss and I went to breakfast at the 9 mile location. I order a breakfast sandwich and the toast was burnt. Did the server ask me if it was alright? NO! Why would the cook send it out like that? My boss was on a call when I placed my order so she, the server took his order 10 minutes later so it's not like they couldn't of re-toasted the bread before bring it out. I'm sorry but that, to me, speaks volumes of there customer service. I wouldn't have served that at my home. I will give them one more try but it will have to be over the top good or this lady will say see ya, don't wanna be ya!
Love the Denny's on Davis highway. Not to thrilled with the one on Nine Mile road. The service at the one on Davis highway is GREAT!! And the food tastes a bit better.
We'll to start with my wife ordered coffee and after watching for 15 mins we had to ask the waitress for it. Then my wife ordered ham with breakfast and got sausage. Then the coffee ordeal again she ask if we needed anything else after we told her the order was wrong and my wife ask for more coffee then we had to ask where it was. Her reply was I just got two more tables. Oh well it's the worst experience we've ever had with Denny's
Denny's complaint 03/10/2022First, I'll say that the onion rings were okay. They were not too pungent. The coating on them was good, and they were cooked well.Also, the hamburger bun was not stale, and it was not soggy. So, good job on that.Now, for the rest of the order:The salmon was way overcooked. The fries, however, were only half-cooked. There was also an overload of salt on them.The cheeseburger was supposed to be ketchup and cheddar cheese only. There was American cheese. There was no ketchup. There was lettuce, tomato, PICKLES, and ONIONS.The spaghetti was supposed to come with bread. There was no bread. We asked that the meatballs be in a separate container. They were on top of the spaghetti. Also, there was no parmesan cheese, as there usually is.Overall, this was an extremely UNsatisfactory visit!!
