ALWAYS & consistently THE BEST crawfish in town. Super friendly. Excellent service. Reasonably priced. 5 star rating all day long
best place in Pensacola for crayfish, cold beer and amazing service
great staff, atmosphere, food and price
Great staff and always a good experience. Great food!
Authentic Cajun Crawfish, Fresh Gulf Shrimp and all the “fixens.” Happy helpful friendly (and beautiful) servers and outrageous chefs. Can’t go wrong, even for big parties or families. Best Key Lime pie outside of Key West. Cajun music in a down home atmosphere. So good book early or call for open hours.
My family frequents Cubs regularly. For once I decided to join and I was taken away by how clean it was honestly. First time in my daughters 5 little years of life I let her go to a bathroom by herself. Super clean and spacious. I love the hand washing station in the dining area (obviously convenient and hoped for but not always provided!) The bar is cozy, atmosphere in general is just super chill. Our server was super sweet and they seemed to dance around eachother with grace when it started to fill up, great attitudes and team effort. Just wanted to hop on here and 10/10 recommend service, cleanliness and flavor.
My wife and I absolutely love crawfish. Usually we cook them ourselves at home or we do boils at friends but this night we decided to try the Cubs Crawfish restaurant. After hearing about all the hype, we were less then impressed. We bought a small crawfish étouffée, red beans and rice, a royal reds shrimp boat, and a crawfish boat (with an extra pound because it wants a lot). The small sides were great. But the shrimp and crawfish were lacking flavor! They were not juicy or very spicy. The shrimp were just headless and not deveined so they were very very gritty and sandy. Enough so, I couldn’t finish them. The potatoes and sausage were…eh. With all the good things I’ve heard, my expectations were very high but they let us down. I’m super disappointed with the food quality. The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because the sides and atmosphere were great.
First time having crawfish and it was really good! We especially liked the sausage in the boil. One thing that could have made it better, would be a spicy butter or something like that to dip the potatoes in. They were so bland and dry that we didn’t eat them all. All the soups were also crossed out on the menu, so I hope that’s not something they’re out of stock on often. Would definitely come here again though!
So I went through and looked at the ratings of different Crawfish spots while on Spring Break. Hands down from the soup, shrimp and crawl fish I have had in years!! Staff was great!! It's on my list from now on when down here
always consistant in flavor. i have been going to cubs since they opened. awesome place.
