This place is awful. Staff usually rude. Never have the food or orders right. Wait time is so unacceptable. Always out of food. Will not let you come inside. Went to pick up a delivery order. Said they did not have it! Never do they ever have it together! Always make you Sit forever in drive-thru! PLUS NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. PLUS IF I WAS THE OWNER OF THIS PLACE YOU NEED TO GO AND SEE HOW THINGS ARE RUN!
I ordered for pick up on the churches site. I had to wait in drive through behind several cars to get my order because the lobby was closed. I was missing a large mashed potato and two large jalapeno bombers. At the window they told me the bombers were not available and gave me a fry instead. The two bombers were almost 10.00 that was more than a fry. After telling me they could not give me a refunded they agreed to give me an okra instead of the two large bombers. Then 2 staff members argued with me over the missing mashed potatoes until they finally agreed. They gave me the okra but not the potatoes. After waiting I completely forgot but then had to get back in line and wait for 3 cars to get the mashed potatoes. When I get to the window they tried to give me a small mashed potatoes. So once again we had to look at the online order, receipt and their screen. It took me over 45 minutes to get all of my food. The gentleman with glasses was the only one who comprehended what my order was and could read the screen correctly. The one star goes to him. Will not be back.
Manager is rude as can be and a poor excuse of a manager. They can't even take 1 order in 15 minutes. Ridiculous and rude, I won't ever be coming back and I'd avoid this place if I were you too. Plenty of better choices. The owner needs to seriously look at their workers here, you have so many reviews saying how poor things are.
We were gonna get some fried chicken here but the lobby smelled like serious stank. Not sure what died in the there. Also, the BBBW working the drive thru seemed to be next-level r3tarded and there were many well fed pigeons living in the awning above the drive thru line.
Placed an online order for pick up. Front doors closed workers laughing like hyenas when you try and open the door. Waited half an hour just to get to the speaker box. Was told it’ll be a minute it’s a Tuesday. Spend your time and money somewhere else
Visited them on a Sunday, 5/29/22. They had long line at drive-thru so, l went inside to order. They had no chicken ready to serve; approx time quoted was 30-60 min on fried chicken. Said l will wait for chicken. When asked what (2) sides l would like with chicken order, l said fries. They tell me: "we're out of fries". Inquired where was nearest Church's Chicken, cashier stated, huh, North Carolina and then laughed about it. The server stated they're the only Church's Chicken in Pensacola. I didn't see anything funny about that! I think the staff needs to practice professionalism while serving their customers. I just told them to forget the chicken & l went somewhere else for some chicken. They should be prepared for influx of customers coming in doing dinner time for chicken. Will not be paying any more visits to Church's Chicken again.
Biscuit was like rubber, mashed potatoes are gross. Ordered spicy tenders, got regular. Temp was Luke warm. After trying Churches in Albuquerque and having an outstanding experience, we thought we'd try Churches in Pensacola. I truly wish we hadn't. I gave my meal to the dog.It is truly amazing how two locations of the same restaurant deliver very different experiences. The Pensacola location needs to be closed down. The Albuquerque location should be the model for every location.
First time ever being disappointed at Churches Chicken. The staff that waited on us was super nice, but that was the only thing good about this visit. I think we went too late to get freshly cooked chicken. It had clearly been under a heat lamp for way too long or it was just straight up overcooked. Too top it off, I didn't get what I ordered. I paid $30 for two orders that we just couldn't eat. I'm gonna' wright it off as bad timing on my part, because it was closing time (right before 9pm) and no restaurant goes without making mistakes every now and then. It was bad tonight, but Churches is normally my favorite go to for ? .
Why is it that everytime I go here they are always out of chicken and everything else too.And I was asked if I could wait 30 minutes for my chicken. Really 30 minutes for fried chicken? Do better or just close.
In town for a family birthday celebration. The vote was unanimous to get Church's chicken. Got to the drive thru only to be told that it would be 45 minutes before chicken would be ready. Everyone was disappointed, but Popeye's won the day!
