Pros: fast service, low carb options, good seasoningCons: everything was fried in burned oil or maybe overcooked, measley pupu platter offeringsOrdered online for take out.I tried them because I still haven't found my "go-to" Chinese restaurant, a sisyphean endeavor in this part of the country, and they are advertised as "new and authentic". They also have a low carb menu section which was great for some eaters in my party.Everything that was fried was dark, bitter and hard. The pupu platter, a good indicator of overall quality, was meager compared to the price and was all dark, bitter and, greasy. The seasoning of the spare ribs and chicken however, was really good, so there's that. This assessment is echoed with the rest of the items. The sesame chicken, sweet and sour pork, and the low carb Mongolian beef and tofu with vegetables, were all well seasoned but poorly cooked. Particularly the tofu, which was very bitter and the sesame chicken, which was too hard/dry as well.I hope that they work on the execution of their dishes because before the bitter grease takes your pallette, it's actually good.Would I try them again? Maybe in a couple of months.*Extra star for the low carb options thus the 3

Best Chinese spot on the west side, their service is great and the food is always hot. The lady behind the counter is always amazing and very friendly

Always love the food, nice people, and fast to have your order ready.

Chef King is our our go-to for catering our family gatherings. Christmas Eve, Thanksgiving Eve. The kids get to pick their birthday dinner, and they pick Chef King. We always get the General's Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork or Chicken. Sweet and Sour Shrimp if we have the money. Love their jumbo fried shrimp, egg foo yung, pork ribs, lo mein, steamed buns. We tend to stick with our favorites, but they have a big menu with different styles of cooking. We order online and go pick it up. The neighborhood is a little rundown, but everyone seems friendly.

Rating would be 5⭐ but the cashier lady can tend to be rude sometimes. Food is great, never had a bad meal. Doordash available.

Glad it was open on Christmas, but that was the highlight; fried rice was mushy/wet; portion size was mediocre, and can’t understand how a combo, extra eggroll, and small boneless spareribs totaled $19.00 (seems like others have had issues with advertised pricing here). Most places I order the spareribs include white rice which they did not; service no matter the day/night always seems to be hectic/short responses/etc, with above average wait times for my experiences with fast food Asian.

Got the sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken. The wontons barely had any filling. Rarely is food so bad that I’d rather trash it than eat it, but that’s exactly where my money went.

Ordered through Door Dash and let me tell you . I was missing one of the my entrées and when I called the store first a lady argued that I was lying. Then a gentlemen got on the phone and stated that my Dasher must have stolen it. I explained that would be kinda hard when the bag was tied up and the soup was on the top. To make it worse having not getting any where with them the lady called me back 10 mintues later and said yet again I must be lying she did the order her self then hung up on me

Rude service while ordering carry out and didn’t even get my order correct. And I tipped her well…smh

Food has been getting worse over time. Today everything was overcooked, and didn't taste good anyway..
