Whenever I come here, my family and I get the same food and it's always a different price! When my husband said something this last time, they acted like it was an accident and lowered it by $10, which is still more than what the menu says. Then to see that other people in the reviews have complained about the price being more than expected... Never again! I'll be going to Vallarta for Mexican now. :)
I’ve eaten at this restaurant quite a few times and it’s a hidden gem in Pensacola. The food here is top notch. My favorites is the burgers and the Nachos Locos. Everything comes out hot and fresh. The servers are always polite and friendly. The restaurant is in an old pizzeria from the 80’s that was converted. It has outside seating. On warm days, the occasionally have outside entertainment, (but they’ll post flyers when they do this). If you really enjoy authentic Mexican fare, you should really visit this restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the service is pretty fast too. They do have carry out when you call ahead too. You’ll love it.
Disappointing.On higher end pricing for Mexican restaurants. I literally have a complaint with all 4 dinners we ordered. Got the 4 taco plate and the puffy round one got so soggy it just fell apart and wasn’t edible and my son said the chicken inside wasn’t good. The nachos plate was only 10 chips - plenty of topping but portion compared to others was lacking for the price they charged. Ordered the $23 fajitas with the pineapple in it and when the food came out there was no pineapple - mentioned it to the waiter and then he returned with one single round slice of grilled pineapple in a side plate. Obviously there was no sweet flavor to any of the fajitas since the pineapple wasn’t cooked with the meat and veggies - that sucked! I asked for grilled onions in my burrito and no lettuce and he realized it as he was handing me my plate so he took it back to have it remade which was acceptable but by the time my food was remade, everyone else was over half way done eating. They also had to make more guacamole so they left it off all the plates when the food came out and when we asked about it he said they needed to make a new batch, which on one hand you’re like oh great it will be fresh but if it doesn’t come until you are almost all the way done eating then it really didn’t matter.
Prices have continued to go up ever since the remodeling was finished; roughly 3 years ago. Some portion sizes have gotten smaller as well. For example: the Bean Dip comes on a small flat plate instead of a bowl.Children meals are roughly $6.99. And Lunch Specials are roughly $10.99. For a family of six people like mine, this is too expensive if you don't make much money.They do run a Fajitas Special that feeds 4 people for $65. No Menudo is served here.
Literally one of the best Mexican restaurants out here! I always have an enjoyable time and even when the house is jam-packed, they still get your food out hot and fresh! It may look like a little hole in the wall but it's definitely the best.
Food was okay but not flavorful. The menu pricing was higher than expected. Our waiter was kind and helped us move tables (due to rude customers).
I'm from Texas, so good Mexican food is easy to find. In Pensacola Florida, Cazadores was a pleasant surprise. Great tamales, chili sauce, rice and beans. Chips & sauce also very good.
My husband & I came here on a Tuesday night. They weren't very busy. We went in & asked for outdoor seating & the waitress told us to help ourselves to a table outside. We waited....and waited....about 10 mins until I went to ask for menus.....then we waited again and the waitress never came. We left. When we got up to leave the waitress was standing by the door playing on her phone. We went to El Agave where we received great service.
Shrimp is perfect everytime! Camarones a la Crema was so saucy and delicious 10/10!! Trying everything on the menu here on out!!
