Wonderful food and service.
The service was friendly and prompt. The parking lot was very full but we were seated quickly despite the lunch rush.I ordered the salmon salad with ginger and sesame dressing and lightly blackened salmon with coleslaw and hush puppies. The salmon was amazing. We also ordered a piece of carrot cake but it wasn't very goodMilitary discount is a little weird--only on certain drinks but not the food menu
I loved the ambiance of the place. It felt like I was on vacation somewhere exotic. The clam chowder was to die for. Lots of clams in a creamy broth with just the right seasoning. The reason why they don't get a "love it" because my grilled shrimp was tough and chewy. The very cute waiter, who by the way needs a raise, was apologetic and did take our teas off the bill. Which was nice. I think they need more grilled items on the menu. I will go back.
Great lunch spot with a very good seafood menu. Located about 4 min west of immediate downtown Pensacola.From sandwiches to salads this is a great locals spot that has been around for many years and at this location about 1 1/2 years. Always a full crowd. So plan to wait 5-10 min for a seat. But food comes out lightning quick.My fried mullet po boy was a great lunch and fries were good. (I asked for the bbq sauce pictured and it was good too). Very reasonably priced for my combo. I’d recommend stopping.
Terrible customer service and rude employee
Food was delicious, servers were good and prices were fantastic. We could not believe how low the prices were. Highly recommend!
Fried food was delicious for my family but not many healthy options for me. I’d love to choose grilled (not fried) for any seafood item and to have a green vegetable as a side. Waitresses were super helpful and kind. Crab patty was disappointing. Go for the fried fish/oyster/shrimp baskets and choose healthy another day!
Got there before the crowd lined up at the door. We had shrimp basket, seafood platter and salmon salad-all great. Jennifer A was very good server. Only draw back of place is air conditioner is set at ice cube temp. Bring long sleeves and enjoy. Will stop again when in area.
If you like fried seafood good stuff, and the weds clam chowder never had better anywhere.. that is a huge statement which it surprised me to say. Some of the seafood didn't sit well, but Charley was amazing, and his story about his mom who started the restaurant was touching. A+ service
I was here on vacation and got lots of recommendations to try out this restaurant. My honest opinion is that my meal tasted pretty basic. My fish was over cooked and dry. The only good thing about my meal were the hush puppies. Also, the prices on the menu is affordable and our waitress did a wonderful job. I really got my hopes up for this place. I’ll like to give this place another chance next time I visit Pensacola.
