by far THE best tacos I have ever had. i got the santa maria and i was BLOWN away. customer service is excellent, atmosphere is awesome, and food was extremely delicious. definitely will be coming back!!

I was in the mood for some tacos and found the spot! I had a Skinny Paco, Ceviche, and DeLuna beef. All were good. Kids had a Nino beef and cheese and the wide had a pork bowl. Really vool setup though. They are located in an old Windstream inside a storage type structure. Check em out you won't regret it!

This place is amazing! White corn tortillas, Hurricane grilled shrimp add a little chipotle sauce for heat and it was the best taco I have had in years! Will be back!

I ate here two days in a row while visiting Pensacola lol! Their tacos were amazing and the quesadilla was soooooo good and good portions too! Definitely give the ceviche taco a try! Yummmmm

Oh my god, what can I say about this place? Absolute perfection. I have been on the hunt for the perfect tacos for some time now and I am lucky to have found it in Calavera. The ingredients are terrifically fresh: the cabbage on the seafood tacos has this perfect crunch that accents the taste of the fish so well. The meat is seasoned so well and has carries the heft of each taco perfectly with generous sized portions for street tacos. The addition of the pickled onions is absolutely delightful and gives each taco a fresh and unique flavor that is sweet, but not overpowering. I drive all the way from I-10 just for Calavera. Get these folks a bigger location, because they are doing some phenomenal cooking downtown.

Overall not very good tacos. Common theme was terrible tortillas which were hard & chewy. Ceviche was good and fresh, better using the tortilla as a plate. Hurricane shrimp had no exceptional spice to it and the slaw sauce tasted like miracle whip. Pork had great taste but was ruined with some sort of congealed mystery cheese on top. Maybe tacos aren’t what they’re known for.

Just go to taco bell instead because you'll get better quality food. The shredded beef was burnt to a crisp. Pork was so salty it was not edible, I can't believe they would even serve something like that, had to throw away my bowl immediately when I got home. The beans are definitely from a can. Worst excuse for Tex Mex food. Just avoid this place! and to ownership, you need to do better.

We tried the hurricane shrimp (grilled), skinny paco, deluna beef, and ceviche tacos. We also had an order of the calimex. The food was on the less greasy side which is great if that’s your thing (it’s ours). We’d definitely go back for the calimex and hurricane shrimp tacos!
