This place used to be great when they allowed you to cook your own food like a real Korean Restaurant. They are still living in the CoVid world even though everyone else, for most restaurants, has moved on. I am not sure if that affects patronage, but there were never more that two tables occupied while we were there and for most of the time, it was just us. That said, the food was OK, not great, but OK. They do not give you a lot of the Korean meal condiments. Disappointed at that. Also, the one and only sauce they provided had an ant in it, which was pretty gross. So, with all that, I give a rating of 3.The one positive note was the server. She was pleasant and helpful. Everyone else in the place was just standing around and one of kitchen guys came out to get a coke and he looked like he worked in a greasy diner - which matched the food. With all the above said, probably won't come back unless they open up the table grills. I have eaten here before under previous owner and said I would never come back. However, it has been a couple of years, so I thought I would try it again. Pretty much same result. If you are looking for Korean bbq, this place is not it. If you are looking for sushi, this place is not it. If you just want Korean food and want it quick, this will do. Not horrible and not great.
Guys, this place is an amazing gem. We had Korean bbq and oh man it did not disappoint. Our server was very kind, hospitable and recommended the boneless LA Galbi which was super clutch along with bulgogi. The service was like no other, the place was clean and our food arrived fast. We also tried a soft drink called Milkis which was A1. Tuna sushi is also great. I would definitely recommend this place. Next time we go back we would for sure post pictures along with another review.
Looks promising and interesting, looking forward to when they have the time to renovate the place for indoor BBQ!For now I've only tried the sushi, it may be because it's a Sunday, but I would say their sushi needs a bit more work, the rice is a little tough. The soup was great though.
This has been a regular spot for my husband and I for a while now. Best sushi around and the staff is warm and friendly. The ambiance is also very fun as they play BTS music videos and other K-pop on their multiple TVs ? Anyone looking for traditional Korean food or ramen would also be wowed by what they serve up here. ✨
By far the best sushi in pines. Most other places around here use too much vinegar in the sushi rice making it sour, which over powers the fish. Wahbi Sabi flavors the rice delicately so it balances perfecly with the fish. Also, the Korean menu is unreal and everything I've tried here has been fantastic. Photo below says it all
Decided to try this restaurant for the first time with a friend and it was very impressive ! Probably one of the best bibimbap that I have had. Delicious side dishes were included with my meal. Quick service and very hospitable. The portion sizes are great ! Will definitely be back again to try more of the menu.
When in SW Broward County this is our go to spot!My kids love the chicken teriyaki bento box - comes with chicken, fried rice, cali roll,, dumplings and miso soup or salad & the tuna tartare with wonton crisps. The spicy rice cake noodles -starts with T ?♀️ is sooo delicious! (In picture)The Banchan (Korean appetizers) are sooo good as well - our favorites are the fish cakes and pickled radishesThe masubi, kimchi fried rice, the rolls and tonkasu are great as well.I mean everything we've tried has been good.Stop on by!!!
This is a third time going to this restaurant. However, I never been to a Korean restaurant charges more than $2 for barley tea. All the Korean restaurants throughout the world that I've been to, this one is the only one charged for Korean warm barley water. Ordered Galbitang, Oyster pancake, and a Salmon sushi. None of them were good. Only thing good about this restaurant was the waitress. Not coming back and won't recommend to others.
Absolutely amazing, we are lucky having something so legit in pines, the food was amazing, you can tell they use quality ingredients and made fresh. One of the most authentic Japanese/Korean in our area. The entire staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!
Awesome place with great prices in comparison to Miami restaurants like Korean kitchen who overcharge. I ordered the jajangmyeon and the chicken wings and both were delicious. The wings were crispy and a tad bit sweet with an amazing sauce, the noodle was great and they also give large portions must try. can't wait to go back and try their other food. The staff got my food out quickly and they were very nice thank you
