I purchased a Rum Vanilla cake with fondant for my daughter's 12th birthday. The cake I must say was beautifully decorated but I picked it up July 14th for her birthday on July 15th. The cake tasted old and there was none of the moist vanilla rum in it. Now I was upset for a couple of reasons I went into the bakery, tasted a slice of vanilla rum cake and said yes, that is what I want. However, that is not what I got. Secondly it was a special occasion and my daughter or any of my other guests ate the cake. Thirdly I could have gone to publix, spent about $40 and got a cake that tasted a whole lot better and saved $100 in the process. Fourthly, I called the bakery on July 16th and told them the cake I paid for was dry and there was no vanilla rum flavor in it. I was passed back and forth to about 4 different ppl and was told Tony, the owner would call me back to rectify the matter. Well it's two days later I am still waiting on that call! I would never order another cake from Vicky's bakery....The slices in the glass case has a cupcake wrapper underneath that is usually wet cause the flavoring runs out, the paper under the round dumpling I was given was dry. Not a drip of flavoring on it or anywhere in sight .....
I just got a fondant cake for my son’s birthday party. The cake looked exactly like the picture I had shared with the bakery. The cost was also very good. I had gone to other cake makers and the price they quoted was double. It tasted amazing, moist and not too sweet. Everyone at the party was impressed. I will go back again for sure.
I ordered a colada and a Cuban sandwich to go after a long wait on Sunday morning. The Colada was tasteless, the Cuban sandwich was good.
Ordered 300 pastries and cake that fed 100 people. Cake was delicious! Pastries were fresh. Highly recommend this location. Santiago provided excellent customer service. At the bakery there’s a glass display with amazing cakes and sweets, it all looks amazing. We also ate empanadas and they were tasty.
Staff is great the minute I walked in they greeted me with a smile! This Vicky’s is a bit far out from the location I frequently visit but due to the great service at this location I will now come here! Can’t beat great food and being greeted with a smile and great service! Even observed the store manager being kind to a Publix Associate the environment seemed very genuine and hospitable!
Ordered 5 sandwiches at 10:30 , place had a steady run of customers, watched customers come and go for an hour! Had to go ask where is my order. Then had to tell them what my order was! Manager (man with bald head, did not know his name) says one minute, goes in back gets the sandwiches and says I got them and proceeded to press them. Now it been a FULL hour since my order was placed, he finally finished and gave us the sandwich’s , (oh also we had to ask about the remaining order or it would have been left out) He only response was (“sorry boss”)I usually visit this bakery every time when I am in south Florida, but will never again! Shame too because their food is very good, but their customer service or lack of should I say is horrible. So “Sorry Boss” I won’t be returning

Great service , Manuela helped me and my wife out and she was just truly amazing. Her great customer service gives a good positive environment to the bakery. The food is amazing and the coffee is even better. Definitely recommend this place. I came to Miami for the pastelitos and they never fail to disappoint me .
