oh man.. needs improvement on their entries.. mine eggplant parmegean t tasted like eggs.. Garlic bread hard.. salad was good.. servce was good..
This really pains me to write this. My family has been going to Santinos more than twenty years. I have brought teams here, recommended lots of people to this restaurant and spent thousands of dollars here over the years. We used to order take out from Santinos at least once a week or more. We supported them through the pandemic, through hurricanes and other hard times. Now, we’re done! The food traditionally had been pretty good but service in the last three years has declined, as has their eat-in customers. They employ very young servers who appear to be high schoolers. Their take out service and delivery is terrible as they screw the orders up one way or another about 50% of the time. Seems like the weekends are the worst. Cooks either don’t read the tickets or the kids can’t write the customer requirements. Whichever, there is little or no quality control on takeout orders. Nobody double checks what comes out of the kitchen so you get what you get. The overall customer take out/delivery experience is regularly horrible. The garlic rolls used to be the best, now they suck too. Today was the last straw. When I picked up our order, I SPECIFICALLY asked the female youngster behind the counter if they placed red sauce on our side spaghetti as ordered. She responded with an emphatic …. YES! We get home and guess what? The order was wrong again. I called back and spoke directly with the server who said YES! I explained the order was wrong again. I told her before she responds to a question about the order she should look to see if the orders is in fact correct. She informed me it was not her fault, it was the kitchen’s fault. She also told me that I could call back when “I lose my attitude”. With all of the loyalty my family has shown them through the years and amount of money I have spent there, how dare she address me like that (or any other customer). There are plenty of other Italian restaurants in the area. I recommend them all over this place. So long Santinos!
worst experience ever, not sure what happened to this little gem, but will never go back - I called in the beginning of the month for a quote for a catering order, I was told to call the week before the event to place the order - which I did yesterday only to be told they increased prices by a total of $60.00, I complained and was asked to call today and speak to the manager Jackson, which I did - his suggestion?? first to place the order and then when I came in he could "do something" but couldn't explain what the something would be - then told me to call back in 2 hours, I replied, maybe I should find another place to take my 400.00 catering order, his reply?? yes - so I hung up and took my business elsewhere... I guess they don't need any catering business, and I will never eat there again!!
Good pizzas for party and good service, everything ready as promised.What else can you ask for.
I ordered take out and never in my life have I ever been served old garlic rolls. They were hard and cold. That’s really impressive because even little Caesar’s can’t mess that up. The penne alla vodka was extremely salty but edible I guess. Over priced for sub par food. Will not be going back. I should of took the hint when I saw that there was only one couple eating in the dining room.
We ordered a large Stromboli and were pretty disappointed. The pick up took 30 minutes instead of the advertised 20 mins which would have been perfectly fine if we went home with a delicious Stromboli, but unfortunately this wasn’t the case. There wasn’t much meat, the meat in the center was cold after just a 7 minute drive home and the cheese wasn’t completely melted as you can see from the picture. Overall disappointing!
They need to update their hours of operation. Drove far for this place and arrived when they said they were open only to be told they closed an hour earlier. Not sure why the door is still unlocked if you're closed.Be consistent with hours of operation! You want to modify them for the pandemic, then update them everywhere you post them!Hope whoever goes to this restaurant doesn't get told "We closed an hour early".
Great pizza, but old garlic rolls. We commented on the rolls being dry and not tasting good, but the person in charge didn't even offer to make fresh ones. Slow service due to them only one person serving all customers.
Pizza is very good but in my opinion, I wouldn't order anything else. doesn't taste as well. It's very cold in the restaurant. I guess the kitchen is hot so they make the sitting customers suffer.
It is a very nice place. The food is excellent and the attention is incredible. kudos to the kitchen. 100% recommendable.
