I ordered catering for 50 people. My order was for bone-in chicken and they gave me chopped up chicken breast. When we were in the restaurant to pick up the food, the person showed me the top box which is bone in chicken so we assumed the rest of the boxes were the same type of chicken. When we got to the party, we opened the rest of the boxes...none of them were bone-in chicken and all chopped up chicken breast. We attempted to reach out to Pollo Tropical a few times and never got a call back This was my first time ordering catering food from Pollo tropical and could possibly be the last. Very disappointed.
Sometimes the chicken is moist and fresh and quite good.OR at other times the chicken (1/4 dark) is old and dry as a rockand really quite disgusting.Since I can never know if I am getting a good mealor a quarter of dry junk chicken - I quit this place!
DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! The most disrespectful establishment I have ever dealt with. No one cares at all. I understand it’s fast food I wouldn’t take It serious either but this is just horrible. They always run out of things including chicken. They never have any sauces. Anytime you ask for modifications on your order they don’t acknowledge It then give you attitude when you ask them to correct It. Laziest crew I have ever seen in my life. Something just is not right with this store. Stay away. Far away.
This Has to be the most unorganized Pollo tropical in south Florida I have been there four different occasions and every single time they have told me they have no chicken with bones No half chicken no whole chicken…. A chicken joint with no chicken???? there must be about 16 people working inside … theres stuff all over the floor a mess everywhere no sauces ever available …if they give you your food best believe it will have no utensils or napkins and if you ask for them they will look at you with an attitude chicken over cooked dry chicken looks anorexic and burned up its horrible not too long ago I was there and the people in front of us got into a fight with the person running the window over their order the manager sat and talked to them for about seven minutes while the line was around the building Management like this gives a great company like Pollo tropical a bad name this is my fourth time getting bad service hence the reason for my bad review I’m done with this place I will never go back and highly recommend no one else does eitherPollo Tropical is not how it used to be
THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT POLLO TROPICAL PEMBROKE PINES, FLThe worst crew! I’m not one to make reviews, but this was so disrespectful I had to make one.This pollo tropical offers no drive thru pick up for online orders, but it does offer curbside, however the employees will claim they do not offer curbside.1 hr wait to get a curbside order. I arrived 10 min past my pickup time and as soon as I arrived I asked an employee outside where to park for curbside. He tells me they don’t do that and tells me he will go inside to ask. I tell him I’m going to park in the front of the building to wait for his answer. Time goes by and I decide to go to the drive thru window. As I am entering the drive thru lane I see the same guy that was supposed to come back and give an answer, taking orders at the drive thru lane as it was a long one. I asked again and he tells me to go wait at the parking spots by the drive thru window. I go and wait again. No one comes. I then walk up-to the drive thru window and ask about my order. I’m told they don’t do curbside therefore my order was never prepared.I show him my confirmation email with order details. He checks the computer and realizes no one has made it. He tells me they will make it. I go sit in my car once again. After a few cars get their order I’m still waiting on mine. I walk up again up to the window. I ask and they are still not preparing the order because it is curbside. They operate with 2 prep lines. One for inside customers and one for drive thru. So no one makes curbside orders. After complaining about the amount of time I’ve been waiting, they finally claim the inside prep line is going to make my order and instruct me to go inside to get my food, which completely defeats the purpose of making a curbside order where you don’t have to get out of your vehicle.Then I get my order and it’s sloppy and I got the wrong sauces.The crew seems rude when you complain and they just seem like they don’t care about the customer. Worst pollo tropical experience ever!!
They are courteous and attentive. The wait time is 5 to 10 minutes. The portions are large and well cooked. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quick, healthy lunch that is not overpriced! Ester the store manger definetly has her game on!
Do not come here, they made me wait 20 min for a simple Cuban Sandwich. When I asked them about it, the manager with the two in nails literally threw the pickles, ham, cheese on the bun. letting the pork and and everything just fall over, then pressed it. That only took two minutes, I couldn't finish it and will NEVER go to this one again. I wonder what kind of example that mgr gives her crew?
I Love the way these people treat you in here!? The food is delicious. Even when I come in during my lunchtime, the food is Fresh!??? The lady at the register, Esther is Very polite. This woman can multitask! I've seen her help on the grill, the register And the drive thru, -All while taking care of customers! She Never gets an attitude. That is great training! And different from what you see nowadays! Unlike many of these places, where the people just move you to the side, roll their eyes, act like they don't want to Help, and are just worried about how many faces that are in the establishment! Even the people who brand you your food ate polite. They greet people! They make you feel like someone Special!?Like Yenia. Nice woman. I heard her comment a lady, and it was very welcoming!?? Made you feel warm, ya know? Like you WANT to come to this place!? Now that's what you call Good costumer service! Good prices for good food. What more can you ask for?????
Love it here!? they're usually crowded during the lunch time. That's to be expected. Really good food. Great price! But they get you in and out of there, is what I like!??? They Treat the police officers Really polite.???♀️??♂️??✈️
The worst restaurant ever !! Said nothing when I got my order . Hello , thank you nothing. When I got home no sauce in the bag , my soup was missing and no steak for my choppy chop . I went back to … Well we ain’t got no steak !! Like I should just pay for whatever they want to give me . I got my soup but they had no sauces made . All those kids and no one can do their job ??? Their food is nothing without the sauces and everyone knows it . Would not refund anything or take the food back . Disgusting food and customer service !! Never again .
