The staff at this location worked with such a sense of urgency. Kudos to the teamwork because this place was BUSY! The gentleman who took my order must have been the manager because he was everywhere assisting everyone, from the front of the house to the kitchen. Instead of watching the time, I couldn’t help watching this group of extraordinary individuals. This was my first visit to a Pei Wei restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious.
So I ordered a family meal last Friday. Waited patiently while the staff chatted about cars and their home boy ext. Got my order and reach home to my family who were eagerly waiting for our Friday meal.So the first observation was the fried rice was that I paid extra for was smothered In sauce. Not only that my daughter was the first t have a plate plus her wonton soup her facial expression was priceless when took her first tasting of her meal “salty” was an understatement.I had to hear it from three hungry and angry souls that evening. I tried calling the store to express my disappointment and of course I was placed on hold. Regrettably I had to order our meals somewhere else. By now 5 days had pass and I was in the area land i decided to speak to the manager so I said let me call ahead a young lady answered and said she would get a manager to speak to me when I told her my reason for calling. I can’t make this up people I was on hold for 24 minutes and the store was EMPTY. I then spoke to one on of two managers manager one of which was there when I placed my order. I showed him my phone which me being on hold still. Not to mention the young lady was chitchatting with some customers now the long and short of it all is he said it was 5 days so he couldn’t give me a refund of almost $50 and he them proceeded to give me a coupon for a small plate which he signed and wrote $39.99 max now while he did remember me and my order plus I showed him the bank entry on my phone. He said his General manager would have not authorize this amount. Guys this was so comical it was dang near embarrassing to say the least.I have worked in the hospitality industry at one point and this is just crazy..
Don’t do curbside. They don’t like to come and will just ignore your order. Waited for over 30 minutes after following curbside instructions and still no food. Called the restaurant and was told they will be out. They didn’t come out. Had to call again and then was told they didn’t have our food.
It is evident that they have reduced the food quality, but I did not expect to find the tomato paper sticker there. They even cut the tomato with it… unbelievable! Besides that one of the ladies that was serving the food gave me a really bad look when I ask her to pls not close the bag to check if my order was right. I was very nice to her but she look at me really bad just for that. The lady that took my order was super nice and helpful, everyone should be like her. I remember when the old manager was there everything was perfect but now it’s not as good.

I used to absolutely love Pei Wei but my last two visits at the Pembroke Pines location was ridiculous. The very last visit on this past weekend was horrible. When I got home and tasted the food, I literally had to spit it out. I ordered the Pei Wei spicy chicken with fried rice and I always ask for the chicken to be cooked well done. Well, not only was the chicken not well done, it wasn’t done at all. The rice tasted stale like it was days old and it is mind boggling to me that a decent fresh meal could not be cooked when there were no customers in the dining room and there was only one other customer waiting for their order. This means the place was empty. All the more reason why the chef should have been able to prepare my meal in a decent and edible manner. I guess the emptiness of the place should have been my clue to leave. SMH
Don't go over there! The food is horrible, the place is filthy! You don't get what you see on the photo when you order...it's completely poor and sad dishes. And the manager was just speechless...
Pei Wei is a wonderful establishment that offers some of the best Asian food in town. One of my personal favorites is the Poke bowl. They also have an amazing atmosphere, perfect to sit down with clients.
The employees that we’re working today 1/12/22 at 12pm should learn some respect because I am allergic to onions and I told them that. My plate still came with the onions I returned it and she did was take them off instead of making new one. Now I had to rush to the hospital just because she decided to not care. But it’s okay Corp will hear about this
The restaurant was empty took 45 min to get my order when we got home to eat the food it was completly immersed in sauce it was so disgusting we ended up throwing it away. Will not go there ever again
