The food was great seasoned well. So tasty! I ordered through Uber eats. I got scared because of the previous comments. But it was super good. The salmon was so flavorful, Mac and cheese hit the spot and the candied yams had me doing my little food dance. I will definitely be dining in soon. Can’t wait to try the turkey wings.
Was charged $46.25 for some heavy salted food. Cabbages wasn't fresh but very salty. Mac n cheese not fresh but was ok. Salmon was glazed and very salty in the glaze. Corn bread and the yams were ok. I read the reviews and still wanted to give them a try, neva again.
Terrible customer service, the lady who answer’s the phone always rude and have an attitude. The food is ok but they need to work on they customer service skills. I’ll never go back there ever. They definitely lost a loyal customer. The manger is also nasty and unprofessional. I didn’t want to leave a one star but that the only way I could leave a review.
Incredible food and great service! I went today for the first time and tried the smothered turkey wings. The meat fell off the bone and was so delicious! I’ll definitely be back!
Excellent food! The food was seasoned very well. Our table had Fried Wing Dinner with Mac n Cheese and Candies Yams. It was seasoned perfectly for me since it is a Soul Food restaurant. Husband had Fried Pork Chops, Collard Greens & Potato Salad. Those Collards was perfectly seasoned. A real hit for me. I did find the Potato Salad lacking flavor. More sweet pickles would've put it over the top.Brother had the Grill chicken which looked good and tasted great. I also enjoyed the Corn Bread.Good customer service but slow. Place stayed crowded but I think they handled the crowds with professionalism.Thank you for giving me a good soul food experience! If you have Soul Food in your name you must deliver flavor. It wasn't too much but well done.
After my boyfriend seen this place on Chanel 4 news he was like babe we have to try it. After reviewing the reviews I was like I don't know hun. They have some not good reviews. Lets just say. I thank God for not going off the reviews. The food was awesome. The lady at the counter was nice and pleasant. I've been looking for a soul food restaurant and Im happy to say I've found one. We will definitely be returning.
TERRIBLE!!! I ordered two rib dinners with mac and cheese, cabbage and yams. The WORST food I've EVER eaten out of a soulfood restaurant! I couldn't believe how tasteless everything was. The ribs were oven cooked, burned, and so greasy that I couldnt get past two bites. The mac and cheese was totally tasteless, and the cabbage was so overcooked and bland that I suspect that it was old, old, old! I will never eat out of there again and advise anyone reading this review to avoid it like the plague. I went there after seeing them on the news and took their word on it. But they were telling a big story!!! The food was sickening, and I wont ever believe A Taste Of The Town Miami ever again. That restaurant should be shut down! Someones going to get very sick eating from there and, I'm surer, they're going to get sued for selling old food.I am throwing away the 2 dinners right now!!!
Excellent service food is delicious especially the fried chicken Mac N cheese is delicious highly recommended!
I saw it on the news and wanted to see what the hype was about lol. Overall it was ok, I had the wing dinner with Mac n cheese and seasoned rice, the rice was crunchy everything else was pretty good especially the cornbread. Pleasant service
I saw this on the news and decided to drive the 50 minutes to get there anddddd the food was AMAZING! It was actually better than I imagined from the review! Lisa, I trust your tastebuds. The owner is super friendly and amazing customer service. Did I say the food was delicious (Salmon and Shrimp, Mac N Cheese, Cabbage, Yams, Corn bread…Amazing, Roshanda and we will be back!
