This is my first and last time ordering Delivery from this place. First off this place has the worst pan con bistec in South Florida. Plate covered in over cooked greasy fries with stale Cuban bread and unseasoned Carne Asada (which is supposed to be Bistec). Nearly a $10 sandwich just to not have lettuce, tomatoe, seasoning, and soft bread. I rather spend 2 hours out of my day and drive down to Miami and wait outside someone's abuelas house and pay them $30 for a good Cuban sandwich. Luckily your chicken soup was the only bright spot alongside your signature stale bread. 0.5/5 stars.
Edit: Saved by an angel. This restaurant was definitely not lacking in rude staff but between the manager's accomodating attitude and the counter server (Bertha) I've had an experience worth adding on 2 stars to my former 2 star review. Bertha had my tostada out within 7 minutes, cafe con leche within 10 and meal within 15. She was fast, efficient, attentive and polite. Whole meal was brought out within 20minutes including a late side order. The image of true customer service, will definitely be visiting Ms.Bertha at the counter again.Food is good, but our waitress (Rosita) was absolutely TERRIBLE. We sat down and Rosita took our order then walked over to the other servers and started talking. After 10 - 15min without getting our tostada (bread) we motioned for her to come over and she ignored us. When I walked over to where she was at and motioned for her to step out of the staff area so I can talk to her she told me to come over and refused to accommodate. 10min after that after having to speak to the manager we finally got our tostada. 45m after ordering we still hadn't gotten our order of eggs. In the time we were waiting Rosita had sat 3 other tables who had their breakfast, toast, etc. within 15 minutes. All in all a 1hr visit with no food and burnt bread. But usually their food is good.
Food and service is great. I go to many of the Latin American restaurants. This one is always above and beyond.
Love this restaurant! Every visit is top notch from the service to the food. Portions are big, the quality is amazing, and the prices are very reasonable. So many options to try on the menu and so far we have thoroughly enjoyed each dish we’ve ordered. Best Cuban sandwich around too!
for a place thats have been opened for years this place is really bad, very few plates can be trust...
They have the best breakfast. I always visit this location on Saturdays and Sundays. The waitress are very nice. The food is very good and the prices are ok.
Today service was so excellent they never disappoint. Food service, order service everything but everything was amazing thank you ladies for your beautiful dedication and amazing services ❤️ ?
Wonderful place! Authentic Cuban food and reasonable price prepared well. Recently had a facelift. New placard style menus. Excellent wait staff and sufficient help to accommodate a full and busy restaurant
Horrible customer service for a customer that comes regularly and puts up with multiple mistakes. Normally I ignore the rudeness and the lack of service but today I needed to write a review. After ordering and waiting for my food way longer than advised, waitress came to window to tell me my card declined. It had not, after debating, restaurant realized card machine was down and not working. No apology given… then she takes the food in my hand back and says we can only take cash! She did not even try to ask if I could come back, leave a business card, take my credit card info and run card later etc… other customers were so upset with how it was handled that one suggested I Zelle him and he would pay cash for me. 30 min of waiting for my food, all this lack of customer service for me to just then get in the car drive away and realize they gave me the wrong order. Horrific experience! Wish I could give 0 stars!!
Probably the worst customer service in south Florida, if you order over the phone and pick up from their window. They usually take triple the amount of time than what they give you over the phone. You can arrive to the window, see your order sitting there on a counter, and they’ll tell you to wait for five more minutes. 15-20 minutes will pass they decide to pick up the same order that’s sitting on the counter. Way too often, there will be nearly a dozen people waiting at the window for their orders and they’ll allow individuals cut in line or go inside to order just so they can be served ahead of everyone. When people confront the staff about it, their response is always, “They’re a long time client of ours”. The group waiting there will erupt and the staff will just throw there hands up like to say whatever. It’s pretty pathetic. Food is usually good
