It's a bit pricey for a casual eatery. I had a lunch special which was a good deal but my hubby had a appetizer plate which was a little overpriced for what he got. The staff wasn't the friendliest either. It was our first time there and we were just kinda rushed through without explaining how the ordering process works. Not going back !
I been to others location in the past so I know was to expect, In this occasion, I order #2 from the menu that is 1/2 Chicken with rice, Maduro's & beans, for me no habichuela porfavor (no beans please), so I had the option to add more rice or yuca frita, I added more yuca.La Granja has one of the best chicken coal I had eaten in the USA, I must mention that I grew up in the Dominican Republic is hard to find a nice and homemade roast chicken. The chicken is roasted with a delicious and glazed skin. The white and dark meat are both extremely tender and delicious, the side that I had was rice and yuca, the portion of rice was plenty and had a homemade, like one of my aunts or my mom cook it. La yuca frita were on point. the place is pretty big making easy to get a table in parking is easy because is on a little plaza. If I'm in the area i will come here again.Servers are very nice, the place is going to the counter making an order, pay and wait until they yell your number, where you pick up your food.
This place has decent food for when you don't want to cook and need something better than fast food. The fried rice could be salty depending on who makes it. My favorite is the whole fried snapper. They also have sauces to accommodate your food which is delicious too. The portions are good too which I like.
La Granja always has great food no matter the location. But sometimes I'd rather go out of my way to go to the one by Flamingo Rd eventhough this one is so much closer to my house. The service here can be rather slow, inside and in drive thru. The drive thru often forgets to give me any sauces at all, even when I ask for extra, or they forget the utensils, or they give me the wrong drinks. The people working there are not rude or anything, but they could use a bit more coaching when it comes to sense of urgency in their service and attentiveness to the orders. I experience this pretty much every time I stop by here, the only thing keeping me coming back is because I live so close. The Flamingo & Pines location is better.
No words or pictures will do justice, go and visit this place and you will not be disapointed. The food is amazing.
I think the best thing there is the workers atention, very kind people, the food is very nice too... recomended
I went to this restaurant to eat some Peruvian food. When I was eating the customers next to my table started to spray some substance around their and mine table. My food and beverage got infected with that (unknown substance). I got this substance on my face. I spoke with the Manager of this restaurant, he said he does not care. I called the police, they suggested I sue "La Granja at Pembroke Pines". The Manager and the staff are very unprofessional. This employee did not even apologize to me. I hope this not happen again to some other customers in the future, the people in charge of this restaurant do not care what happen to the customers. Next time someone can puke , spit or spray some poison on my plate, but this manager does not care about it. Try to not go to this place, be careful. There are some other nice places around. I hope this franchise (La Granja) try to improve the service in the future, they should fire this unprofessional Manager, this guy does not protect people eating there. I will never go there again. I will tell all my friends and relatives to not go there.
Excellent customer service, very clean, quick service, excellent food, I recommend it 100%
Seafood Gumbo is worth the trip. Big enough for a meal. Variety of seafood in a coconut stew. Not something that you would expect at a fast food shop.
The food is fresh is good very tasty and the service is fast I really do love La Granja
