If you decide to eat Chinese food, spend your money in a place where authentic food is served. Gold Marquess is the only place I have tried that serves good quality Dim Sum, we enjoyed all the food we ordered, as usual we all shared to have a taste of different plates at the same time, we also ordered Fried Wonton, it was wrapped in phyllo dough giving it a perfect crisp, Bbq Pork Buns were also good, for the main course we had the Kung Pao Shrimp which was delicious, great flavor and the vegetables were perfect, the Fried Noodles and Vegetables with brown sauce, it comes with white sauce but we prefer brown, they don’t have an issue with changing it, this was also really good.At the moment they are going through a remodel, half the place is closed so make sure you call ahead, it gets packed really quickly.Recommending.
We love the dim sum here, they are delicious, ambiance is really nice, it’s a legit Chinese experience. Also, affordable and they even give you complementary tee.Recommendation. Soup Dumplings (Shanghai) sesame ball, and the crispy shrimp ball
I would really hate to work there had one person working the tables, cash register, sitting in the guest, cleaning up the table And bring out the food. Felt sorry for the person. Gave him a decent tip for it wasn't his fault The management or owner of this place treats them employ pretty badly. I didn't find a food that impressive for me to go back as well
I came for lunch. Not busy at all. Only three tables were occupied. The tables were spaced out, not crowded together. I ordered appetizers, which included chicken and pork. Good food. Friendly service. Some of the staff wore covid masks.
Food is Fantastic but the new waitress has a terrible actitud like if he is serving you food for free. It’s really a shame. I wish not to go back but the food is the best in the area . We have been going to this restaurant for years. Now they are doing “renovations “ and as I understood the menu will change.I wonder what happened to Fil ? Looks like he is not in charge anymore so sad to see what’s happening to the restaurant.
My family has chinese background, and we consider this place very unique chinese restaurant for dimsum.
We had an amazing experience at Gold Marquess. Francis and Karina were of excellent service! Kudos to them. I definitely recommend the Shanghai Dumplings and Shrimp-Chive Dumplings. They were delicious! We'll definitely be coming here again!
In my opinion this is as authentic as it gets in s. Florida for Chinese dimsum. They have a lot of food not limited to what is in the carts that pass by. I would really suggest that they have someone explain in English to new customers how ordering works (from carts, the menu, etc.). They provide chopsticks at the table, but fork/spoon/knives are available upon request.Favorites: pineapple bun, duck, xo noodles, salt and pepper calamari, sizzling beef ribsThere is a wait when we go on weekends around lunch timeAlways a go to favorite for my family during birthdays, holidays and special occasions. You can also order over the phone for take out
One of the best and most consistent venues for authentic Cantonese cuisine. There is dim sim here. On the weekends they push the cart around. During the the weekdays when it's slower they have the order card.Folks new to dim sum. Order the shrimp dumplings and baked BBQ bun. Skip dessert. It is not overtly sweet. Soup dumplings are good and so are shrimp balls. This is still a newer find for me. I have been here a good handful of times over several years. The food always is good quality and good portion.Almost everything is family style. You can order dishes off the menu if you want more than dim sum. I definitely recommend ordering hot tea to consume with the meal. It aids is digestion of a big and hearty meal.Weekends can definitely be busy. As always good things take time. Have some patience, something to think about or talk consecutively to your group. Come hungry and enjoy!
The food is so fresh and tasty. You can really taste the care and quality of the ingredients and preparation of the food. I love the many dim sum options and their entrees are delicious too.
