I was looking forward to trying this place out. But I guess on a Thursday Evening at 6:30 is not the best time. I walked in and there were people waiting to pickup their food and one woman stand by the order here sign. I joined her and struck up a conversation about the establishment. It was both our first time to this resturant. We wondered if the food was good then after a while wondered if we were standing in the right line to order. No one, absolutely no one working there acknowledged that we were waiting to order. I looked behind me and there now was a longer line.I exaggerate not...ten minutes later someone found their way over to take our orders. I wondered to myself why was I still in line. I must have been either too hungry or too lazy to go somewhere else for better customer service. A man in line walked out. I asked the woman in front of me how long she had been waiting before I walked in, she said awhile ??♀️When it was finally my time to order I could not help myself but get a little animated to show how disgusted we all were in line. The person taking the order said he should not be taking orders. I said that's not the point. Someone could have acknowledge us in the line....then I remember I was in a Jamaican restaurant. This is standard practice. Aye my people do better!!!!!??Now to what I ordered. Spinach patty and fritters. The patty was ok but the fritters were just dough. I will probably not be going back. And so it goes!
I am an Uber driver. Every time I had the opportunity to picked up food in this place I have to wait a long time. The staff lie about the waiting time. If your restaurant work with apps you should adjust your time to real food preparation time. For drivers time is so value, don’t cheated us about waiting time.
Excellent service and delicious food. I had the ackee and salt fish with fried dumplings and it was excellent. My next visit, I had stew peas and white rice and it was also delicious. Very friendly staff.
I ordered 2 breakfasts that came with almost no salt fish. This is after I called checking to see if they had saltfish left as this has happened to me before. As a Jamaican, this is a rip off and I won’t be returning . Stay away.
Food was on point and amazing , best stew peas I’ve had in any Jamaican restaurant , full of meat and not runny. The baked Mac and cheese was also well seasoned. Will definitely be back
Used to be me my favorite place for lunch, but these new hires are bad for business. Terrible customer service from Omorose B. followed by Andre F. I ordered a curry goat and somehow was given chicken. “GOA” and “CHIC” don’t even sound the same. Your mouth doesn’t even form the same to sound these two words! It took 5min to make (with really old, cold and hard plantain) but another 15min just to correct a mistake, so I inevitably asked for a refund. Trash service. Cannot be Jamaican
Highly disappointed that we were served bloody chicken. After a long day of work, we were excited to have a yummy Jamaican meal. Although we waited over 20 minutes for our food, it wasn’t even cooked thoroughly.
Love this place. One of the best authentic Jamaican restaurant in South Florida. Staff are friendly, nice dining area with outdoor dining option. Very clean, fresh food. Delicious chicken and beef patties amongst other menu options. I highly recommend this establishment.
I got the Brown Stew Chicken Kids Meal. Tastes pretty good and it’s a decent size.
The food is good! If you are hunger and can wait, ok. If you are starving you might need to go else where. Don't order through GrubHub unless you have 4 hours to spare. I promise you will be waiting forever. 2 hours is the least an When you go to the restaurant and order it's about 20-35 minutes waiting.
