First time here and it was a Wednesday so of course the place was almost empty, which did not bother us. Waitress was very nice an attentive and the service was quick. Chips and salsa they offer were ok although salsa was a bit watery with no spice nor much flavor. The flautas and fajitas were very good, but the chimichanga not so much. The margaritas were delicious, wish they were bigger. Now, I recommend you ask the prices of the drinks before ordering, because it can get very expensive especially if you decide to upgrade to a better tequila like we did.
They have the best, most tender Palomilla steak here. They also give you delicious salsa to start with. They serve both Cuban and Mexican. I usually always order their Cuban food. The staff is the sweetest and is always the same people. The nachos are not like other Mexican restaurants. These are a whole bunch of chips and everything thrown on top. My only down side is the size of the salsa bowls.

Don pepe's is by far one of my favorite restaurants I've going there for years with my fam and the food is always good and served in a timely manner. The service is also always so good! love this place.
Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in South Florida—at any price. That being said, prices are very, very reasonable. Consistently provides excellent (Mexican, Cuban, and more!) food and absolutely exceptional service. What you’d hope for and expect in an owner run restaurant. Have tried many menu items and have never been disappointed. They make amazing Mojitos and have the best black beans! Make sure to leave room for a flan or other awesome end to your meal, and one of their incredible cappuccinos which are served with an artistic flair! By the way, if you like airplanes, you’ll be at the right place, as you’ll get to see many aircraft taking off or landing at North Perry Airport which is right next door! Certainly makes for an enjoyable dinner date, family event, or midday lunch! Staff speaks both English and Spanish. Highly recommend, without any hesitation.
Great place with yummy food! I had multiple dishes here and they don't disappoint! The Pina Colada is delicious!
I really like this restaurant. The servers are always nice, the food is good, they serve generously and they have good prices. They also have stuff outside the menu. My son wanted salmon, and they made it for him. Don't be shy to ask!!

TriedChicken fillet a la placha, it was good, nothing special about the chicken or the rice but the black beans which came along were super saltyDon Pepe Burritos - was stuffed with goodness of the chicken however there were pieces of beef inside the burrito shows the carelessness of the chef and the pinto beans were super salty as well.Overall, good quantity for the money but saltiness in the dishes and mixture of other meats is Big NO
