drove out there from state RD. 7 arrived at 7 pm. I see an employee on dinner break eating onion rings. saw a sign when I approached counter no rings. I said I just saw employee eating them he ssid was last one. then it states if u purchase a fry and drink u get the 50 cent discount per meal. well I received 2 meals one discount. it is not the point of the 50 cents it is false advertising. I brought it to the attention of the cashier he ssid yes I know that is the way owner has it set up. I said that is false advertising. He said you have to ring it up separate. i said that is wrong. he said others have complained and owner said well that is the way we do it. I also long time customer when u use to have the one in Hollywood on 441. That was my last time there. I also been to many event where u were the caterer not right to false advertise
Horrible experience today. I’be been a customer of Char-Hut for many years. This location has deteriorated tremendously. The garbage areas were nasty and overflowing, and there was trash all over the floor. The condiments area was extremely dirty as well. One of the side wooden door panels to one of the garbage cans was completely broken and almost hanging on its side. The restaurant had an odor like it hadn’t been cleaned. The food was fine - not great, but we lost our appetites based on the condition of the place. The staff behind the counter seemed completely uninterested. They all had attitudes, were unfriendly, and seemed miserable. They were all young, and there did not appear to be any manager there or person in charge. It is a completely different (in a negative way) experience when compared to the Pine Island/595 location, which as of last week is running well, clean, and is a pleasant place to eat. Until Pembroke Pines management gets this place back in order, I cannot recommend it.
The burgers are delicious. The sweet potatoe fries drizzled in marshmallow are amazing. Good prices. No frills, great place to eat overall.
Great service. Dinning area always looks sanitary. Food portions are of Adequate size.
Food is good prices are ridiculous clean restaurant friendly staff but when you pay $15 for a burger and fries it's like what the hell
My family and I have been coming here for years. This is hands down our favorite location. The burgers and chicken sandwiches and always fresh and delicious. I also used their catering service for an office BBQ at TY Park a few years back and the food was great! They handled the prep and the clean up too. Highly recommend!
We drove all the way from Miami as we used to live in Broward 20 years ago and I wanted to have my grandkids try the best hamburger ever. Well some clients were eating sitting at their tables when I approached the counter to place the order the lady said sorry we are closing now the time was around 3:20. I think there are a couple more char huts but definitely this one is a DNR and I don't mean do not resuscitate but DO NOT REPEAT. My 6 year old grandson tears rolling as he was very hungry.
Char hut has the best burgers you can get in a quick serve restaurant. They offer 1/4 or 1/2 pound burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken breast, and my favorite the Italian sausage. Everything is seared on a hot grill right in front of you. You can actually see your meal being prepped and then select from many differ toppings to finish it off. Everything is delicious and high quality from the burgers and toppings to the frings ( a mix of fries and onion rings) and other sides that complete your meal. I've been eating here for a very long time and I only wish they had more locations. It's the extra flavor that the burgers get from the searing hot grill that keeps me coming back. I recommend the 1/2 pound burger and the special sauce they make in house for topping it off with anything else that looks good to you.
The food is made to order. Always great.
Last time I order. Every time we order through Uber eats no sauces that we paid for are with the order. Comes on the wrong bread ordered. Tonight No tzatziki sauce that was ordered with my chicken that is pink and not cooked all the way through. Last time I order from there.
