Terrible service. Food was great. Took us an hour and half to get food. There was only 6 of us.
This was our first visit to Uncle Ernie's, and we loved it! We were looking for a place to go for lunch that was away from the crowded areas on Front Beach Road in PCB. We definitely picked a great spot!We went during lunch, around 1:30 pm, and there was no wait at all. We sat on the outside lower deck and had a beautiful view of St. Andrews Marina. There is a dock at the restaurant for boats to park, with an entrance straight to the decks of Uncle Ernie's. We enjoyed seeing the bay and all the boats and pelicans while we had our lunch.Our adorable server was Deion, who did a fabulous job and was super attentive and helpful. The food was amazing, with large portions, plus they bring you a large basket of some sort of artisan bread and pesto oil sauce for dipping. I had the Soft Shell Crab Sandwich, which came with fries, lettuce & tomato, and remoulade sauce. I also added a side of cole slaw and put it on my sandwich. My husband had a cup of chicken and mushroom soup as an appetizer, followed by the Shrimp and Grits. Our daughter had a Kids' Grilled Cheese Sandwich and fries. Everything was delicious!The surrounding area of Historic St Andrew's Bay is super cute and looks to have a wide variety of shops and small, locally owned quirky places to eat. We will definitely be checking out more places in this area and will make Uncle Ernie's a regular stop during our vacation each summer.
The most perfect calamari I’ve ever had (with a great view!) Accompanied with a house side salad. I could literally have this a few times a week!
Always great. Husband and I both love the grouper with crab and cream sauce on top. We also both love the mashed potatoes. Oh and we both enjoyed the blood orange margarita. Go at sunset. Beautiful views.
We both had the soft crab sandwich. It was great food. We sat outdoors and it was a great experience. The views are great and the food is just as great!
This is one of our two favorite restaurants to meet with family and eat some very good seafood. My favorites here are fresh fish fillets or their signature crab cakes. The dessert choices are great as well. We have never had a bad meal here from all the dozens of times we have eaten here.
Sitting looking out over the water is such a pleasant experience. The food is good, although rather pricey. Interesting note was that the house salad was outstanding. Excellent service. If you're in this area, you pretty much have to try Uncle Ernie's.
My family was treated very poorly after making a complaint to both managers about a battery that occurred from one of the fellow patrons. When we complained the police was called to evict me for making a complaint to the management. We are a biracial household and were treated very poorly for this. I do not recommend Uncle Ernies as both managers treated our biracial family very poorly and banned me for a year for making this complain to the Panama City Police Department.
