Very quick despite long line. Good food and fair pricing. Parking can be difficult though
best hotdogs I've ever had...been here twice and they are consistent....very cool local hang....Go support them.
Got a chili cheese dog and a cole slaw chili cheese dog! Both were good, and a short wait time. Service was also nice. Cute little area to grab a cheap meal!Would definitely recommend
If you haven't been here, you are missing out. Toms has the best hot dog chili that I have ever had. Don't forget the Tom's sauce. If you like chili dogs, it is a must try.
I got the chili cheese dog combo meal.Overall a good hot dog, came with chips and drink for under $10.00. Service was good. Short wait for hot dog ? to come out. Iced tea was fresh! Restaurant could use some “updating” with a “freshened up look” to help atmosphere while eating.
Toms Hot Dogs is a local favorite! Chili, cheese, and slaw on a super dog.. Who wouldn't glut?? It's a great place, with great food, and the owner is usually always on-site.. she is pretty AMAZING! IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY EXPERIENCED HOTDOG PERFECTION, HEAD TO TOM'S HOT DOG'S!P.S. They also have a killer bacon cheese burger!
After spending almost a month in Panama city beach. We had frequented this adorable town to see the Bay County Historical Museum and Center of the Arts. After eating lots of seafood, I was hankering for a good burger. I inquired about a good place to get a good hamburger and the ladies at the Historical Museum suggested Toms Hot dogs. And BOY, did I get a GREAT sloppy hamburger! This was not a paddy, but a large hand made hamburger....Just what the doctor ordered!!!! Reasonable prices. Adorable setting.
Tom's has really gone downhill since they moved to their new location. I don't know why. I have been going there since the late '80s, and it used to be my favorite place to eat downtown. I can't say that anymore.First of all, their prices have gone up. I went there for a cheeseburger today-- and it was almost as much as Five Guys now (over $12 for a burger and a drink). The menu on their website does not have the correct prices, BTW. When I ordered the cheeseburger they told me they no longer put the mayo, mustard, or ketchup on the burgers-- they give you these tiny little packets instead and you have to do it yourself. For some reason they do put the condiments on the hot dogs, but not the burgers.I waited quite a long time for the burger-- at least 15 minutes-- and finally had to complain when I saw people who had ordered burgers 5 minutes after me getting served. (No one made any effort to check on me while I was waiting.) I was told that the reason I didn't have my burger was "The ticket didn't print." Well, I guess everybody else was lucky-- their tickets printed but not mine! I got the cheeseburger a few minutes later with NO apology for the delay. When I finally got back to work I found that the bottom bun was SOAKED straight through. Evidently they didn't drain the patty before they put it on the bun. It was so wet it literally disintegrated in my hands as I tried to eat, and I ended up covered in mayo and mustard. I practically had to take a bath to get all the mess off of me.Unless something changes I will not be going back.
Parking can be tricky. Food is pretty good. Delivery can be late... sometimes orders are prepared late...I'm told the tablet(s) are sometime down which can turn into a big delay.
I used to love this place but since they have moved their food has gone downhill a little bit they used to have some Tom sauce that was out of this world but the last couple of times I've gotten hot dogs I didn't have any on my hot dogs and I wasn't going back to the restaurant to get my hot dog sauce because it wasn't worth the trip
