I got the ribs, baked beans , Mac and cheese and potato salad and it did not disappoint!! Customer service while picking up my order was great as well. I’ll definitely be returning again soon.
This is a solid BBQ joint. The pulled pork is damn near perfect, and the potato salad is probably the best I've ever gotten (apart from my great aunt's, of course). Highly recommend it!
Best Lunch Spot!!!We got pulled pork sandwiches with potato salad, coleslaw and AMAZING baked beans. My coworker went to grab lunch for the office and he came back with this Pit Stop - Never heard of it and I got a bite of it all so I was not being rude. I was AMAZED! Awesome food - I went back for an entire plate pretty quick! When I went there at night to show my family how good it was - I really wasn't expecting the building it was in - So dinner is not as good as the lunch but I would go everyday if I wouldn't gain ALL the weight! It is a must try but don't judge a book by its cover when you see the building!! ;)
The pulled pork was fantastic. Not dry and full of flavor. It was the sides that did it for me though. The potato salad and baked beans were almost exactly what my mama made when I was growing up. It literally transported me back to my childhood. I’m just in the area for a couple of days for work, but I’ll be coming back here anytime I’m in the area. To the owner, thank you for your cooking ❤️
Awesome food! We tried pulled chicken, pulled pork, ribs, brisket all great smoked flavor! The potato salad and baked beans were our favorite sides! Also banana pudding made special for our catered event! Customer service was top notch with these folks going above and beyond all on Easter Sunday! Truly some of the best BBQ we've had!
Drove by and always said I would stop next time....well today was the day! The staff was friendly and helpful. The pulled pork was delicious and tender. The bbq sauce was bomb. And the cornbread yum. They even had some 7up pound cake. I will be stopping there again soon. Prices were reasonable too.
My wife and I went to Panama City for a few days to look at retirement possibilities. After driving all day we were hungry. We wanted BBQ, so we Googled a place that was close to our AirBnB. We ordered online and drove over to pick it up. When I walked in it smelled like a BBQ joint is supposed to smell. They gave me my order of pulled pork and smoked pork chop, with sides and dessert, and as I was about to leave Mama Shirley walked in with a 7-Up cake. I already had 2 famous Mama Shirley banana puddings in my bag but I promised to coma back in a day or two. The pulled pork and smoked pork chop were incredible. The banana pudding was some of the best we've had.A couple days later, on a Sunday, we went back and the owner outside smoking some meat. They were closed, unfortunately, but he remembered me and they gave us two pieces of Mama Shirley's 7-Up cake.They are so nice, the BBQ is some of the best we've ever had and we HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in the PCB area. You will not be disappointed.
Food here is great! I got the pulled chicken and my husband got the brisket! My husband says the brisket here is better than the one he had in Texas.
Stopped in this past Sunday and had a pulled pork sandwich and potato salad. The pulled pork was great both with and without bbq sauce and the potato salad was some of the best I've had.The owners here are also very friendly. In addition to serving up great food, they also recommended some places to visit around the area.Will definitely stop in here again.
