Placed an online order for office personnel. The lettuce was terrible. Called the manager and she ensured that everything is cut daily and it’s fresh. That’s Newk’s definition of fresh !!! Bad no desire and time to argue with her. Won’t order again.
I don't usually gush on a restaurant because most of them have average food. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE HERE! I went for lunch not knowing what type of place it was. It is a pizza joint with extras. I decided to try the Italian sandwich with coleslaw. Not a bad price for lunch, under $13 including a drink. The food comes out and I try the coleslaw first. It is average at best which sets up expectation for the sandwich. TOTALLY NOT WHAT HAPPENED! Wow! The Italian sandwich delivered. It was exactly the taste I was searching for. The only way I can describe it is like Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma's house.....you eat so much your side starts to hurt because everything is so good. That was this sandwich except with an Italian twist. You ever see a kitten guard it's food when it likes what it's having. That would have been me if anyone would have tried to take it away from me. There was no sharing of this heaven sent taste. YES, I will be going back. I hope the pizza can produce the same reaction.
Great food. Similar to McCalister's Deli or Panara Bread. Salads are huge enough for two people. I usually eat half the sandwich for lunch and the second half for the next day.
The food quality has really went downhill. Last 2 visits the salad has not been fresh. Wilted lettuce and tomatoes that taste like chemicals. This trip the basil on the pizza was burnt and wilted. It could be a training issue. It appears that a lot of young teenagers are always on staff. Every visit they are sitting around and could probably care less.
Just might want to be aware that the manager doesn't hold the same standards that she sets for her employees. Long, loose black hair just flowing in the kitchen. Food is great, just check for hair because she does not tie it up, a big no no when you work in the food industry.
Overall good. Service was excellent on our last visit, but can be a bit spotty. We still enjoy our occasional visits here!
Rude staff, rubbery chicken one day and the next day is good chicken tender and crispy chicken.... But I watched 2 members of the staff eating right where they Make the sandwiches and making other people's food between bites. It isn't a good thing to masticate where you are assembling the food for customers...
What can I say, Soups, Salads and Sandwiches. They do them all well and they are efficient. Not much in the way of atmosphere or personal touch. It's quite mechanized to get you in and out.
Gross and greasy! The pizza is the most bland thing on the menu. The desserts are always stale and dry. Don't waste your money for blahhh food.
I always order my food to go, and simply ask for bbq on the side. Either I never get it or my sandwich is covered. It's a really simple request, but somehow they can't ever get it right.
