Had beef sandwich. It was not brisket, and was difficult to chew. Not much beef flavor. Mac n cheese was awesome.
We were headed to Panama City and someone said " I’m hungry ". So I pulled out my phone said "two miles ahead there is a BBQ restaurant. We pulled into the parking lot of J. R 's Rib Shack and treated ourselves to some of the best BBQ pork sandwiches and ribs I have had in a long long time! Service was great and you can't beat the prices! We will definitely be going back to J R 's Rib Shack!!
JR’s catered our memorial service. They delivered the food at the requested time during the service. They set up quickly and quietly. The food was delicious !! I really enjoyed all the sides especially the potato salad. Thank you JR’s !!
I have been eating there for over 15 years... not sure what happen today? bought thier special/ chicken and 2ribsnormally/ 10 minutes.. today 45?chicken, so dry/ unediableribs/ must have been cooking, while other 7 customers were being served?never had this happen to me there before... most time, food out the park! NOT TODAY!ribs good/ chicken so bad , corn dry like been reheated, bread, so dry , had to nuke to softinmay just have been a bad day for them, because not normal , but when you pay $15+ for a meal, expect better, else just go back to Mc Donalds
Me and my buddies came here one day after a crazy lit beach day, pulling hella baddies, chuggin hella beers and we was like yo, let’s get some food. Found this little rib shack, kinda thought it was gonna be mad Garbo but we was hungry and turned out to be really good. Definitely worth it. Great employees. This kid Justin that works there was a sweetheart. Highly recommend if you hungry for some food.

A cozy little restaurant that I found on a work trip. I had the rib plate special which was phenomenal value. The ribs were big and meaty and there were plenty of them. For 12 dollars I got 4 huge ribs and two sides. The ribs were not the best I've ever had, but they were probably the best I've ever had for that price. The sides were actually fantastic and with the ribs provided enough food that I was contently stuffed. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good value.
Wow, southern hospitality! I had smoked turkey breast and my partner had smoked beef rib plate. You had the choice of 2 sides served with thick cut butter toast. Our bill was $30.00 which a good value and great taste!
Oh, the food was awesome. That was one of the best pork sandwiches I ever had. The staff were friendly and the food came out quicker than anticipated.
