We are halfway through our one week beach vacation and just had lunch here. This was the best seafood we have had all week! I ordered the fried grouper. My husband had fried shrimp and oysters. My daughter had grilled mahi-mahi. All of our dishes were cooked to perfection and were fresh fresh fresh!!! Considering eating there now everyday until we leave! Would give a 10 star rating if I could.
Don't get the fried fish! I got the fish n chips; looked great, even before digging in, I thought, wow, look at the amount of fish they give you....... Nope;. I bit into the large delicious looking fish.....mouth full of batter;. took another bite more batter..... I finally found a small amount of actual fish after piling up a substantial amount of batter on one whole side of my plate. I was a big Goatfeathers fan from eating at the Seacrest restaurant in the years past, but I was so disappointed tonight! I felt like I paid $60 for two plates of batter with fries, and a tiny side of fish. Might still try another dish there but it won't be a fried one!
I'd be interested to try their offerings that aren't fried. Had a fried oyster Po boy for nearly $30. Sure, it was big but only 10 oysters on it and they were so over battered and deep fried that I couldn't tell it was an oyster I was eating. The bread was crumbly and I had to commit the most heinous of food crimes and eat my sandwich with a fork. Too high priced and not a lot of substance. Some dude in Louisiana just rolled in his mausoleum. As for the market inside, it looked impeccable. Everything was clean, neatly processed and smelled clean unlike other seafood markets out there. Their product is undoubtedly fresh.
I got afraid waste your planner. It was almost $40. The oysters tasted like pacific oysters they didn’t have the good golf flavor. They weren’t bad for Pacific moisture‘s but my meal didn’t come with tartar sauce or cocktail sauce either one. And I had to request them. There are too many other really good places in the area to waste my time or money here. It’s 30A so I expect to pay a premium but that just felt like a rip off in every way.
My wife and I stopped in for lunch. The blackened shrimp platter, and the seafood platter gave us a massive amount of incredible food. The seasoning in everything was perfect. Their lemon-garlic remoulade is unbeatable. About 6 tables inside, and if you want to eat outside there’s seating in the plaza across the street. We saw a chef come in for some red snapper filets, so if they’re a fan, count me in. Absolutely must stop in if you’ve never been.
Loved our seafood boil and fried grouper. Everything was so fresh and delicious. You can buy bottles or or beer there to consume at your table.
Perfect little lunch spot. We had lunch on a Friday and the lunch special was a huge portion and a great piece of fish. The gumbo was also delicious - it has a little kick to it - but that's exactly how I like it.
First time ,the fried grouper sandwich was out of this world! The week I spend here my lunchtime diet consists of a lot of grouper there are some wonderful spots to eat in this paradise but you folks have it going on! Thankyou for a great ding experience!!
Great fresh seafood. Great price. The meals were very good and big portions. Will definitely return. The staff were awesome. Very friendly and helpful.
I've only had fresher fish by catching it myself! Portions are large enough to share, but why would you? Prices are very reasonable for the area and the batter is the best I've ever had on either side of the Atlantic! Kudos to the young staff on their kindness, knowledge and professionalism. It was so good we went twice in 1 week and we will keep coming back on every visit.
