A hidden gem. Staff is wonderful and so nice. Best oysters in all of PCB and PC!! Don’t pass it up if you have the chance to go.
Fried shrimp basket and crab claws were perfectly done. This place blows Hunts oyster bar out of the water. Service was excellent, price was great, shrimp was DE-VEINED!! and cooked to perfection. It's not down the street like the other place but if your going to spend some money and you don't really wanna eat Sh!t, go here!! FOOD IS VERY GOOD!

Can't judge a book by its cover. Best priced out of about 5 places we tried and best tasting. Bonus was they had a special on fried that were awesome also. Only con was the fact they only accept cash, no credit cards.

Gene's is the place for raw oysters and the best Po-Boys East of New Orleans!!! I highly recommend the journey to this local gem :-)
I'm new in town, and have been looking for just this kind of place.Dozen oysters to start, then fried grouper shrimp lunch combo. What could be better.Excellent.
WOW! What a little gem. Had lunch here and practically ordered everything. Oysters, gumbo,sautéed crab claws. The gumbo is homemade and chocked full of shrimp, andouille and okra. Yummy. The crab claws are served in a mix of Parmesan cheese, butter and garlic. ? It’s small and family owned for over 50 years. Go by and see miss Ann and enjoy and delicious meal!! Great customer service.
