On Tuesday I bought two dozen glazed Donuts to share with visitors at the beach. When I opened the boxes at the condo they were much smaller than they were a few months ago. The taste was a bit different.Today I put one in the microwave...these just are not the same Donuts.I've been buying sharing and bragging on these special Donuts for years.What happened?
Awesome assortment of donuts, pastries and even a great selection on the lunch menu of sandwiches and burgers. Staff is always nice and helpful too. They offer a walk up window and a drive thru.
Used to be the best in town for decades, but IMO, I don't see the same quality or value as it used to be. While there's not many other better choices nearby, I can honestly say I'm not as enthused to go out of my way these days. The cake donuts have gotten smaller and aren't as fresh. You could barely tell the glazed sour cream cake apart from a regular cake donut. Not as moist or dense as it used to be granted prices have gone up as justified for current times.Also there's seems to be an extremely limited supply beyond school let-in time that didn't used to be which makes for inconvenient timing and/or ridiculously long lines. Like even around 9 am theres nothing left to choose from. Seems purposely done for whatever reason. Why bother to even stay open after school starts if this is the case?No longer worth the hassle as there's another longstanding shop with donuts that still tastes as fresh as the olden days. They might be a bit out of the way, but with current housing construction in the immediate area, they'll be booming before long.
I would totally recommend this place to anybody if they are an alien ?or anybody they have the best food in the world and i cant stop coming back for more they have great service and very friendly staff and the manager is helpful when you dont know what you want he gives you some very good ideas to try
If you go to PC....don't go to the "box stores" this right here has been my go to along (pretty much every other local there) donut shop since I was a little kid and it's always PERFECT. Everybody I've met there has been absolutely wonderful! Keep on keeping on my beautiful friends!!!!!! Missing that pineapple fritter and smiling faces ?
I’ve had every donut in Bay and surrounding counties and i’m telling you these are the best by far!!! Not to mention your supporting small local businesses!! Keep up the great work and i will see ya in the morning!!
I don't know how to describe these donuts other than Wonderful. We arrived early at 515 am. They were still putting all the fresh donuts out. Just beautiful, we splurged and got one of each. I took most of them to the office. Everyone enjoyed them, they were gone in 30 minutes ?
They have our FAVORITE donuts of all time. Their glaze donuts (and all their donuts) are SPECTACULAR! Everyone I've met loves Dan-D's and the donuts are highly coveted among locals and visitors/tourists alike! The only thing you should prepare for is being in line because everyone else is too! :) Totally worth waiting, though!
Okay, I have dealt with alot with this place. but charging $0.50 for no ice is kind of ridiculous. I could understand maybe charging $2.50 for a box if you request it but .50 for no ice is unheard of!
