Our experience started out good and quickly went to very bad. The fried pickles appetizer was good, but that was it for good. We waited over an hour to get our food. After asking more then once, our food came out. The shrimp on the poorboy was cold, as were the fries. The tacos we made incorrectly. Our waitress apologized, which we appreciated, but the manager didn’t bother to say a thing to us. Instead he told his server to tell us he’d talk to the kitchen….nothing so frustrating as a manager who can’t take the time to apologize but let’s his staff take the heat.
Ordered two sandwiches one with no onion due to allergy and a soup to go ( soup is up charge ) I arrived 10 mins after time I was told to arrive food wasn’t reAdy but wasn’t bothered . Get order (soup was forgotten ) I smile remind them they grab soup ( wrong soup ) then inform me the soup I ordered is not available . ( big let down ) bc it’s the whole reason ordered from here. I get home one sandwich is very undercooked and covered in onions . I drive back to the location for a refund. Refund takes 15 mins as servers were chatting in server area ( so much so the male host had to give her the hurry up twice . My grandmother here visiting had the shrimp po boy and it was as ordered . Host was very polite other than that service was pretty awful and not once did server say sorry . Never going back raw sandwich and they got order wrong 3 times .
Outside appearances and the name had me expecting a pub-like experience - and there's nothing wrong with that. But - this little gem of a dining venue was way more than a pub. A diverse, seafood-centric menu with steaks and poultry a-plenty; a great selection of sandwiches and craft beer, a cozy 'full bar' and a genuinely knowledgeable and friendly staff. Patrons ranged from seniors like myself to prom-goers and sorority sisters. The decor was understated and spare, unlike the food, which was well-presented, in ample portions and intelligently seasoned.
We’ve been here several times and continue to be impressed. Charlie, our waiter, did a fantastic job and the food was great as always. Tuna was cooked to a perfect cool center and the blackened grouper was amazing as well. Highly recommend Copper Tap Grille.
We always have great service and really good food from the small plates to the signature dishes. I highly recommend you give them a try.
Honestly had the worst experience ever here. My waitress, Haley, neglected to take appropriate care of me while I dined here. She was constantly running around to all other tables but mine. I waited over 20 minutes to order my food and I had to get her attention for that. She failed to mention the specials of the day, and failed to mention the ingredients of the soup. When I got the soup I realized I couldn’t eat it as it had an ingredient I had an intolerance to. She got my burger and someone else’s burger mixed up and we ended up having different temperatures for them. While my family and I were eating, she kept asking us about boxes and how we wanted the check. WE WERE STILL EATING. Haley, telling someone to leave you “a big tip” is not proper waitress language. The waitresses here need to seriously work on their manners and how promptly they are at taking orders.Food was great though.
Me and my friends always went to this restaurant for dine in and take out like every week in the past couple months. The service wasn’t good staff are not really friendly except the bar lady. Everytimes we had the togo order there’re always a mistake, for this expensive price they should be more careful.
This place is pretty pricey. For lunch the prices range from $15 to $30+. I had the pan seared scallops with a side salad, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. Everything was prepared well, the scallops were by far my favorite part of the meal. The salad was all arugula which is my least favorite leaf. The mashed potatoes could have benefitted from garlic and maybe rosemary.Overall, it is a nice place to eat if you don't mind a busy lunch crowd and some noise. The food was delicious and service was wonderful.
It is rare that I feel like every single penny I spend on a meal is worth it. You can usually find something wrong somewhere... This place was worth every cent ? One of the best places I have ever eaten in my life. Fantastic flavor, food was perfectly cooked, portions were great, the waitress, the timing of the food, and even the music was absolutely perfect. Just great ?
Food was great and our server Brit was phenomenal, very knowledgeable about the menu and local attractions. We visit in the winter and this place was on our list to dine at while in town from 30A. Server made us feel very welcome like we were home while we chatted. Can't wait to come back, and seek out local recommendations.
