FOOD: Fried chicken was good. Mac and cheese was watery and tasteless. Corn bread was hard and pretty unremarkable. Food portions were about average for the price.SERVICE: Friendly over the phone and in person.ATMOSPHERE: The place does not scream cleanliness.PRICE: Not really a value. The price on line didn't match actual which was more expensive. If it was priced as the menu on line indicated it would be accurately priced.

Me and my wife was coming back from Mexico Beach and came back to the business district and got a little lost and stumbled across this gemThe food was southern style as advertised, portions were not big but plenty enough and the prices were good. They had great sweet tea, great service with a nice back porch setting if you choose to sit outside.I would definitely love to go back
Best country style cooking this side of your MaMa"s! Great location with outdoor dining. Try the cornbread it melts in your mouth The staff are very friendly, and make it feel like home.
Very good home cooked breakfast. None of that distributor frozen stuff. Made from scratch biscuits were so yummy! Had the full order biscuits and gravy, filled me right up with those 2 biscuits and their gravy was perfect!Great atmosphere, and taking with the locals is fun, they're great people and super friendly! Will come back for lunch in the future!

Let’s be clear. There’s never a time I don’t think about this place. I dream of their chicken and dumplings on Wednesdays and ESPECIALLY the fish and shrimp on Fridays. Every Friday I order the exact same thing, the combo with Mac and cheese, green beans, and cabbage. I like to consider myself a stickler for some good Mac and cheese so if I’m repeatedly ordering Mac and cheese from some place you know it’s good! By far been my favorite place to eat on days off or if I get off early. Every employee is always so nice and some of them always remember what i drink. Next step is the order ?

Great, Southern diner, kind of food. Chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes are the bomb. Terrific veggies if you want a veggie plate! Rockin' corn bread.
