I came here looking for a good place to recommend to my Airbnb guests. The menu covered all the important comfort food groups like meatloaf, fried green tomatoes, and fried Oreos. I highly recommend the fried tenderloin lunch special and the spaghetti pizza. After an amazing meal we updated our restaurant recommendations and leaving this review before leaving. Highly recommend!
I would highly recommend this restaurant to all ❤️ Excellent service ( our server was Alexis thank you ) & a good variety to choose from ? Clean restrooms & wheelchair ♿️ accessible ?There is a warm & cozy atmosphere & I really love what they did to the place ❤️❤️ Oh they do serve Beer ? & Spirts ?
Love love love this home made mid western fare they offer I haven't been able to find a true tenderloin sandwhich since moving here until now! Very clean place, service was above top notch, very friendly staff. My new favorite!
Food was fantastic and service was excellent ❤️
The lady who said she was the”0wner,/manager/waitress was the rudest person I have ever come in contact with. Cussed in front of my grandkids and kids. For a so called “family” restaurant the service was inexcusable and would not recommend to anyone. We left.
5he shrimp and catfish dinner, both were $14.99 and they totally screwed me. There are 2 small filets in my catfish dinner. What a ripoff. Cheese grits needed salt. No flavor with anything we got, overpriced, kinda clean, servers were nice. If you go, bring your own season salt. I don't recommend it, go to PoFolks.
Delicious food and great service!!
Absolutely delicious and delightful and the staff makes you feel at home with that good home cooking.
I have very mixed feelings on my visit. I went with a group of 14. We sat at 2 tables of 6 and a table of 2. They seemed to have a reasonable sized staff for a place so small, but things were not very smooth, and they seemed overwhelmed by the large group. The staff was very friendly, and the food was good for the most part. I know that they probably wanted to get all of our food out at the same time, but several other tables came and went in the 3 hours we were there. When it was time for checks, things got very confusing. They had a hard time getting the right orders on the right checks (6 total), so we eventually just paid and settled up with each other afterwards. I would try them again with a smaller group so I can see if the experience is different. The menu is very diverse. You can get a pizza, burger, meatloaf or seafood platter. The portions are good (pork loin is enormous). They have a small beer and wine bar. Plenty of parking, but a little hard to get in and out when traffic is heavy.
I have been wanting to try this place out and had the chance to today! Wife had the meat lover's personal pan pizza while I had the Pot Roast with cheese grits and pea salad! The pea salad reminded me of my mother's!
