Great quality and size oysters!! One of the best in Panama City and for not a bad price. It was $15 for a dozen raw and $18 a dozen cooked. Based on market value though like most other places, so it could fluctuate.Great ambience also with an amazing view of the water. Go during sunset and you won't regret it. There were two live singers also that were amazing. Our servers Ivan and Maria were friendly and welcome also.Can't go wrong with good food, music, atmosphere, view, and service!!
Really good breading on the shrimp. I had the seafood platter and substituted extra shrimp for the oysters in case you are not a fan like me. I recommend the Barefoot Punch, 5 different rums so what could go wrong. We brought our dog so we enjoyed the covered deck for extra shade but the open area has umbrellas. There is a mix of pub high and regular height tables. Beautiful view of the late afternoon bay with boat traffic coming in and out.
This is my fav place to sit on the patio and have lunch or finish my work day paperwork as I have a cocktail. The interior of the restaurant isn’t very inviting (dark and gloomy) but the patio/deck is fab. Staff is always friendly and the food is good. The food is pretty standard fate that you can get at most beach tourist restaurants and I will admit it is iffy on how good it will be on any particular day. So why the five stars? You cant beat the view of the bay and the mega relaxed atmosphere. There is no pretense here (if you want that or a bit of fancy pants go next door)…just a friendly, “we are glad you are here” vibe.

My son and I had dinner there tonight, he had the fried shrimp platter, I had the blackened grouper platter, the food was amazing and neither one of us could eat everything!. Andre was our server and he was great! The entertainment was good also, all together a great experience.
Glad I gave them a second chance because it was much better this time. Burger was great! My son had shrimp and he likes that as well. Service (kitchen) was a little slow because it was fairly busy, but honestly the reason I only gave 4 stars is because a woman came in with a her dachshund unleashed and proceeded to just let it run around under tables and in and out of the bar area. A couple of the servers tried to keep him wrangled while calling the dog by name, but not once did anyone tell that woman to leash her pet.I am a local as well and enjoy the feeling of being one in a place, but the dog was EVERYWHERE. People were nearly falling over it every few seconds.
The location and view is great and it should be a gem of the area but woof the service was awful. First, we had no clue where to enter. Then, after walking around with a baby looking clueless we had no idea if we needed to wait for someone to seat us or to sit down somewhere and hope someone would find us.Our table we finally settled on was dirty. When I asked for a high chair they acted like they'd never been asked for one in their life. The waitress took quite some time to come get our order and the appetizer took almost an hour to make it to the table. I was shocked it came out before the entre.The food was so good but by the time we got it we had been there almost two hours. This was supposed to be a quick lunch at a place that wasn't too crowded. Instead it took away a huge chunk of our Sunday.Additionally, I don't know the rules on this but I haven't seen people smoking at a restaurant (granted it was outside) in a long time. That was unpleasant as well. I don't believe we'll be returning anytime soon. This place needs a serious overhaul.
Had the fish and chips was awesome, amazing, I'm a local so have eaten about everywhere that being said people here on vacation need to stop leaving a bad review because you have to wait to get a Delicious meal. If you want it in 5 minutes go to McDonald's. We are under staffed the entire county. With an annual 18 million visitors it's tough. We have restaurants with a 2/3 hour wait on Friday Saturday night. God forbid you have to wait for something. This is a great place friendly people, awesome food.
This is a bit pricey for my budget but it is really nice. Outside seating on the water.The staff is excellent and prompt.The food is really good, I suggest the gator bites and grouper, the only way they could be better is of I caught and cook them myself...The drinks here arent knock offs, you order a drink here it is a drink... ?..Good food, good atmosphere, good service a bit pricey....
