This is one of my favorite lunch spots. Good fried catfish, great fried chicken and good southern sides. Their burgers are really good! Hand made with fresh never frozen beef makes a difference! Excellent staff, cool atmosphere, cold beer, a patio if you want to sit outdoors, and cold AC if you need a break from the FL heat. Highly recommended.
Backfire shrimp was delicious. Blackened shrimp was too. Burgers were tasty. Even loves the mashed potatoes and gravy and fried okra. Very busy at 7 pm - 35 minute wait. Short on wait staff, but isn’t everyone right now!
We enjoyed some good food and great service here. We started with the Backfire Shrimp (similar to N.O. BBQ shrimp) and they were really good - just enough of a kick. The boys enjoyed the Smoked Wings w/BBQ sauce and the Cheese burger and fries which was a large serving. The star of the show was the Hot Fried Chicken (Hot as in spicy!) The pieces were huge and the spice and heat of the hot sauce was perfect! I'll admit I was sweating eating it - LOL. I would absolutely return when I'm in the PCB area.
The atmosphere and staff was great. The wicked chicken was the best chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. We loved the decor as well.
We made a last minute decision to stop in for dinner on a Tuesday night. We arrived around 4:30 and were sat right down. The food was great and the atmosphere was even better. The kids spent their time doing a scavenger hunt at the table and we spent our time eating the best cheese curds we have ever had. This was probably our best meal of the trip and I suggest that if you get a chance try it because you won't regret it.
The Wicked Wheel is a great example of a themed restaurant! It’s got such a wonderful eye catching motorcycle theme. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by wonderful staff and great decorations and motorcycles to really make it feel like an old motorcycle dive bar that is family friendly haha!The menu has a wide selection to choose from. I decided on the popcorn shrimp with hush puppies and fries, as well as a pulled pork sandwich with side of fries. The staff was on it! Being very swift and bribing the food out in a quick timely manner. I loved the food and the theme so much. I will definitely come back next time I visit again!
The decor was awesome. our server was awesome, I had a hard time finding something on the menu but that is because I am picky.
We ate at Wicked Wheel and it was delicious. I had the fried chicken and sweet potato fries and would definitely order again. The rest of my family had the chicken and waffles and they enjoyed their meal. The atmosphere was quiet and great for family conversation.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDso far, the best food experience during this PCB trip. We dined outside about 6pm on Mother's day. We were seated promptly. Our server, Kyle, was friendly, efficient, and attentive without being overbearing. Our food came out fresh, hot, and delicious within 10 minutes of ordering. We all enjoyed our dishes--fried green tomato BLT (no bread): that Wicked sauce is spicy good without being hot. HUGE portion of crispy tater tots. Those in my party enjoyed their chicken tender and fried shrimp plates, highly complimenting the mashed potatoes and cornbread. For dessert, the limoncello and chocolate cake were creamy and divine. The only pic I got was the garlic cheese curds with marinara, which was like pizza goodness without the crust. (a true delight for those like me who can't tolerate bread) An exceptional casual dining experience for a reasonable price. A must try.
Great service and food! It was pretty empty while we were there so we were seated and taken care of immediately. Our server was great and the food was delicious with large portions. I had the Bacon BBQ burger with candied bacon and it was great, the fried okra side was larger than I expected and very hot and fresh. The fried chicken was really good as well and the atmosphere was nice. Also the cheese curds were great, I recommend it!
