Our food and service was excellent!
We had such an awesome Time! It was My Birthday, and Dakota took great care of us! The food was phenomenal, the drinks were even better! We enjoyed the sweet jams, delicious desert and the view of the boats coming in. I look forward to our next visit!
The food, service and ambience were excellent. I had the special which was opah (a white fish) with couscous with a great sauce. The fish was prepared very well, nice brown on the top and moist. My companion had the fried shrimp which was lightly battered so that the shrimp could be enjoyed without heavy fried batter. The small portion was sufficient. I will definitely return.

Went for a birthday meal. Waitress never acknowledged the birthday even though it was printed right on the slip she picked up from our table. The hostess made sure to do that when she sat us. Waitress was very nice but seemed to have other things on her mind than working. Very infrequent on checking on us to see if we needed anything. Just overall a 3star experience to us. We frequent PCB to eat and have heard great things about this restaurant. Food was good but just not what we expected. Not bad enough we wonât give it another chance, but first experience here wasnât 5star as expected.
We were a party of 5 for brunch to celebrate my sister's birthday. I ordered a grand mimosa, which arrived warm. Waiter took forever coming back, so I ended up putting ice in it. Others in our party ordered Bloody Marys that took forever to get. Server blamed the bar's "glass shortage", but they were watered down as though they were sitting for awhile. My sister ordered a glass of wine & it never arrived, even though she reminded the waiter twice. She just gave up & drank water. My entrée did not mention eggs. If I would have known, I would have requested them poached instead of the hard, rubbery & tasteless omelette I was served. I ate the 3 fried oysters that came with it & left everything else. I was supposed to have bacon, peppers & onions, but I only got tiny pieces scattered in the inedible omelette. All poached eggs at the table were overcooked. We just ate what we could because it was taking forever with service. I planned for this brunch for a month and was left so embarrassed that I recommended The Grand Marlin, so much so that I paid for the whole check. The waiter knew it was a disaster, but offered nothing to rectify it. I will never go back, nor will I recommend it.
We always think of having our Anniversary dinner here. The food was excellent. I tried your lion fish special. I would definitely get it again. Loved the chicken and waffles too. We had 2 dinner nights and Sunday brunch. Thanks for making our Anniversary meal wonderful again.
Server messed up order several times. Forgot to put kids order in immediately. Daughter received her food 45 minutes after putting in order. My wife is gluten and dairy free had to send food back and verify she was heard more than three times. They waitress was careless with our order. Drinks where fine had but we had to ask for straws for non alcoholic beverages. Overall experience was probably ruined by an incompetent waitress. It appeared to be too much for her to be waiting tables.
