Staying across the street we decided to try this place out due to convenience and high ratings. We ended up going back twice. Got a bfast burrito and later a bowl, both were plenty of yummy food. My accomplices really liked their food and are typically pickier than I am.Next time in PCB we'll be back even if not staying across the street.

Great place for breakfast, something different than regular everyday food chains restaurant. European menu is available but it is on the counter and not on regular menu. This stuffed cabbage got me speechless so good. Variety of coffee to choose from. Cafe con leche is good too.

When we travel, we stay away from the big name places if we can to try and help out local folks. So we research to see where the locals like to go. This place did NOT disappoint. Great and friendly service, quick and attentive!Breakfast is great, but it's hard to mess up eggs, bacon and sausage. The grits were cooked perfectly and their sweet tea was awesome. But you MUST try the bakery. We got a cinnamon bun straight out of the oven and it was to die for. It had bits of apples cut up in it for a little texture and flavor and it was pure heaven. Give this place a try and see why the ratings are so high!

Stayed across the street from this place, the reason why we came. Very cute, inviting exterior, quaint little place. Lines are long, you will have to wait at least 5 minutes in line, if you’re in a rush not your place. Also, stick to the donut, pastries & the coffee. These were great but, everything else we ordered to eat here was not. The burrito, the hash brown bowl, the bacon egg and cheese biscuit, were not good. The sausage from the hashbrown bowl was flavorfulless, the hashbrown was soggy, the burrito was also plain we how do add hot sauce to be able to eat it, the biscuit was dry. For reference, spent $69 for breakfast (meal and coffee) for a family of five.PS. Was only able to take a picture of the burrito.

Edit after recieving response from owner; I changed my stars to 3 from 1 due to a rapid response and explanation from the owner.Original response: Went in around 8am Tuesday April 12, 2022. There were only a couple of customers there so they weren't busy. You grab a menu at the door and walk up to order at the counter.I ordered the traditional breakfast with 2 eggs over medium, sausage, grits and white toast. Eggs were over-easy not medium; the sausage was burned and hard like a hockey-puck, toast was cold, grits were good, though. I had a decaf coffee which was good. A server brought us our food; when I asked for cream and sugar she pointed to a counter across the room, which apparently meant I was to go get it. She was too busy chatting with a family that was eating there. Guess we weren't her type of customer or something, not sure.Wife had grits and bacon, she said they were ok.One thing that we do NOT like is when you go to a place like this where you pay and basically serve yourself, they ask for a tip up-front...this is NEVER a good sign and that alone will make sure we never return (to the Owner Alex - putting a tip line on the receipt at the ordering counter compels people to tip as it makes customers feel if they don't tip, their food will be subpar; therefore my wife tipped, and our food was still subpar). As far as asking for food to be replaced if bad...not an acceptable answer. The place wasn't busy, the food was still not good; the opportunity for the food to be fresh and cooked appropriately was missed by your staff.Parking is in the rear around the block and very cramped. All over not the best experience for us.

Awesome food and service! We are breakfast here everyday and their lunch was fantastic too. Highly recommend the grits bowl with bacon, the maple pecan danish, and the caprese panini! All the food is made from scratch and yummy!! The staff is great too!

Good coffee, great breakfast. had the 2 eggs plate. yummee!!

Sunrise is an excellent and quick stop for breakfast with a little bit of everything for the whole family, everything was also reasonably priced.

The owner Alex has a very disgusting attitude called me and my friend “hood rats” when all we did was pull in to come eat me and my friend are locals customers and former employees of the sunrise Café and I’m absolutely disgusted by how management treats their customers. 10/10 do not recommend eating here unless you want to be discriminated. Also purposely cooked our food horribly and incorrectly, us being former employee’s we know how it’s actually suppose to be cooked .

I often use reviews to decide on our next spot to try and the overall 4.7 definitely got my attention. This is a difficult review to write as there were some hits, as well as a couple of misses…IMO. Hits: pastries were DELICIOUS, turkey sausage was well seasoned, croissant was buttery/flaky/DELICIOUS, wife’s chai tea latte was a hit. Biggest miss for me: cheese grits were a bit bland (never a fan of sliced cheese, especially when it’s placed on top of grits as opposed to being mixed in). Overall, a decent experience but wife and I agreed we were both a little underwhelmed.
