Shore Dogs has my vote as the BEST dog friendly restaurant there is. We came up from Tampa on a impromptu trip for the 4th of July Holiday with our two large dogs. We are eternally grateful they let us bring them in the building as they has been out in the heat all day and being able to lay on the cool tile floor was a godsend.The hot dogs, frito pie, tater tots and margaritas rocked, seriously. I would give this place a 20 out of 10 if I could.
Had a blast at Shore Dog’s last night! It was karaoke night and a couple of us in our group sang! They made us Texas peeps feel welcome!!! The waitress (Shay) was very attentive and the atmosphere was fun!! It’s a little off the main strip but definitely a treasure worth checking out!!!
Shore Dogs Grill is a bar/grill establishment across the street from the beach. The food here is pretty good, the prices are fair, and it’s clean inside. I ordered the double hamburger and onion rings. The food arrived hot after an average wait and was good. One issue I saw was lack of staff which is not uncommon post pandemic. Be prepared to wait a bit more than usual for your order to be taken etc. The owners are nice people and I will eat here again in the future.
DO NOT GO HERE: Horrible food, slow checkout, and the owner is very rude as well.If I could give lower than one star I would in a heart beat. My friend and I chose to go here yesterday. The customer service was okay but every other aspect was absolutely horrible! We both ordered at the same time and we both got nachos except hers with no meat. Hers came out (?like under 3mins?) and they didn’t bring mine cause apparently he forgot to put it in. Once we get our food and try it we both immediately notice something is off. I’m pretty sure they were using old/burnt frying oil which is why the food tasted so bad, but like idiots we ate it cause we didn’t wanna be rude. Then it took an eternity for them to notice we were ready to pay! So we sat there forever even though the place was practically empty. And we were both nauseous all day long yesterday and today I have explosive diarrhea. Also if that’s not enough, while we were eating the owner came in and made a “business call” being very loud and cussing. Which completely added to the horrible experience we had there. Just don’t go, especially if you’re on vacation it’ll make you sick.
Best hotdog I've ever eaten! It had all the toppings I could ask for. I looked everywhere for a good dog with sour kraut and onions. They added as much of each item I asked for. Food was served with a delightful at home greeting and we weren't rushed for our table. Our fries and onion rings were golden brown and not the hard shelled ones you get at a fast food restaurant. The decor was aimed at our countries service men and a touch of biker bar. Each branch of services flag was displayed somewhere in the restaurant.

Sorry to say we won’t go back, we stopped for drinks one evening with the intention to eat here later in the week. Sam the bartender was rude! There are too many places to eat or drink at for service like that.

This a great local family owned and operated business. The 50 Star cheeseburger is quite possibly the best on the beach. The hot dogs are top notch, good quality, affordable and delicious. Shore Dogs is one of the only places on the beach to get a Gyro, and it is also quite good. Might be the only place that has one on the east end. They do a shrimp boil every Sunday, and it excellent. Five Shore Dogs a try!
