My family and I just had Lunch Buffet here and it was value for money. Prices are $26.95 for adults and you have a wide choice list of Sushi, appetizers, Soups, Salads and noodles to choose from. The sushi itself is First grade in our opinion and it was definitely worth the money. Sushi was fresh, very delicious and its made to order so the hot sushi is always welcoming. We spent about $100, but ate well worth $200 of sushi. The place was clean and comfortable. Staff was busy, but always attentive and friendly. I will definitely come back here again.
The food was great ?. People were awesome too. They deserve the rating just for food alone. Atmosphere was a icing on the top.
Delicious sushi, so fresh and flavorful. The flavored sake selection is also wonderful. Will return for sure!
Dinner was good but not great. We had shrimp shumai and miso aubergine to start. They were fine but the shumai were a bit mushy and the miso on the aubergine was very sweet. Sushi rolls were a bit better with a tuna eel roll being the standout.Service was friendly.
Just ate here and let me start by saying the food was very good but...I was under the assumption that they offered all you can eat sushi for a certain price and come to find out it ends at 4 pm. I was ok with that I guess but not really because it was one of the reasons I chose to eat here. Then there was the service it started good but that went out the window once a table of 20 college kids came in! All of a sudden we couldn't find our waitress. Then the 20 kids who were actually from our home town of Knoxville Tennessee...the Vols were extremely loud and obnoxious. Look I remember being that age and all but I was also taught how to behave in a restaurant . It actually got worse that I could not converse with my wife and daughter sitting across from me and it seemed management didn't know how to handle all of this and like I said we were not at all catered to.....we waited 10 or 15 minutes just to get a fork so my daughter could eat her fried rice. I ordered some more sushi and it took at least 20 minutes for 4 pieces of mackerel. Like I said the food was good but if we happen to go out again here for sushi we won't go back. My bill was just under $200 and I didn't get the service I should have for spending that kind of money in a restaurant. I usually try to be positive and give fair reviews as a Google guide but if the sushi wasn't as good as it was they would get 1 star.
All you can eat is not as it sounds….you order, then you can only order something else if all of the previous order is gone, then if you end up leaving anything on your plate because you can’t eat it they charge you per piece left over…..i understand not wanting to be wasteful however how are you supposed to try different things without being fearful of getting charged more than the already 26 price…..we ordered from the regular menu which had no flavor or seasoning…..don’t waste your time or money
This was my first visit. I chose this place for convenience as I was having my motorcycle serviced at the Indian dealership next door. The sushi and sashimi were very fresh and delicious. The service was quick and professional. I had the lunch special prepared at the chef's discretion.
I love Shan Kishi. They do all you can eat sushi, and I definitely recommend being a group of people so you can try different things. Friday night I got a Philadelphia roll and the Highway 98 roll, and both were so good. The hibachi chicken is also really good. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they are always so attentive.
This restaurant is a longtime favorite of mine, but as of my last three visits I can say something has definitely changed. Yesterday I ordered sashimi lunch which is nothing but the raw fish but what was sent out was 4 pieces of nigiri along with a California roll. I can look past the sending out the wrong food but the fish itself was warm and did not have a fresh taste to it. It wasn't bad or ruined, but it wasn't close to the quality of the freshness of the fish that I have experienced in the past and come to expect here at this restaurant. This has also been my experience the prior two times. Something is off with the freshness and quality of the fish and I hope they fix it. If yesterday were my first time eating here, I would never go back. I know they are capable of serving up some amazing fresh fish so I will try one more time.
We really enjoyed the sushi and hibachi. My husband and daughter did the all you can eat. The rice was warm, fish very fresh. I had the scallops and salmon dinner with fries rice and vegetables. I ate the entire thing. The waitress was very good, checked on us frequently. We felt we got our money's worth for the rolls. You can also choose by piece so you can get a variety of tastes.
