Good food. I had the Beyond Burger and asked for no cheese, but my burger came with cheese that I had to scrap off. The chipotle aioli was a great addition the the fries and burger. The 20% service fee was a little shocking even though our waitress told us about it up front. My wife and I paid over $60 for our two meals and two appetizer that were split with four other couples.
Food was pretty good! No wait, service was good! They do put a charge on your bill that is non negotiable. Not sure i agreed with it, but no notice prior to the meal!
Our visit to Shades Bar & Grill was excellent! They have a great variety of menu options with efficient and friendly service. Our waitress, Stormy, was great. Highly recommend!
We've stayed at beach houses near Shades the last two years and walked to dinner. Both times were excellent. Last night, my husband got the pan-seared redfish. It was incredible, and the polenta was perfectly cooked. I could have just had the polenta as a meal! I got the lump crab cakes, and they were delicious - just like I like them. The shoestring veggies were perfect with them.
We wanted a more relaxed place while staying at the pearl, and a few people suggested shades. It was great, Austin took care of us and was great. The queso was delicious, and drinks were great. Burger was a little over cooked, but overall a great time. Highly suggest this place if you want a chill environment to just hang out, drink, and eat some bar style food.
Jackson was the ABSOLUTE BEST!! Loved his vibe! The food was amazing as well. Definitely returning
They have shrunk their menu and added a concierge fee, so you don't have to tip. Food was good. Family friendly. No long wait.
Stumbled upon Shades and it quickly became a new favorite! Super Dave was the absolute best server we could have asked for. Highly recommend the calamari, the summer salad with blackened shrimp and the key lime pie!
Nice bar n grill restaurant. I had the redfish with cornbread grits which were fantastic! Be mindful of the 20% service fee imposed to the meal, our waiter patiently explained why it was charged and how it's calculated. Excellent server!!
We stopped in on a Friday night, temp inside was so cold we asked to be seated outside for warmth. Service was good, food had lots of options, it was good. It felt like a local option, nothing was amazing or outstanding.. it was a good stop, simple typical bar.. bring a sweater to eat inside.
