Food and wait staff were amazing! We enjoyed the brisket nachos. OMG! Brisket entre, seafood platter, cocoanut shrimp, grouper (so moist), and a sirloin steak. I don't recall the name of the drink we got at the table but it was good. However, when we attempted to order from the bar while waiting for our table our bartender looked at us like we were crazy when we asked for a Mojito and then when we asked for a Margarita he didn't know what Cuervo Gold was. That didn't bode well, but food was great. Only reason it didn't rate a 5.
Seated quickly with a party of 6 for Lunch Host and server nice and attentive Fried pickles are good as an appetizer French dip and cheesesteak both prepared with brisket The brisket was average, Fries for the side seemed pretty typical Overall decent food good service not Bad for lunch Prices average
We had the BBQ nachos and brisket Philly Cheese Steak and were pleasantly surprised at how awesome they were! Seems like most BBQ at restaurants is mediocre at best, but this is the real deal! I smoke meats at home on a regular basis, so I'm somewhat spoiled and picky with BBQ from restaurants, but man! This was fantastic!
Had the seafood plater - absolutely the best I’ve had in two years living down here - puts Boondocks to shame !! Clam strips - fish- shrimp - fries - the best - Highly recommend it - portions are huge- ??

Best food I had during our trip. Wings were absolutely amazing. had pulled pork for my meal also simply amazing. Will definitely be my 1st stop when we go back
Before I can even get to the food, I have to comment on our waitress. She was fantastic. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. We had a large party of 13 and she effortlessly helped us through the menu and deciding what we wanted. If I owned a restaurant, this is the kind of employee I would want. I just wish I remembered her name. The food was excellent. The hush puppies were excellent and served with a remolaude sauce that was fantastic. I had the grouper blackened and it was excellent. My daughter had popcorn shrimp and it was really good as well. Breading can be tricky for fried seafood and they did a great job not allowing the breading to overpower the taste of the shrimp. Everyone that had bbq said it was some of the best they have had. Highly recommend this place!!
This restaurant was within walking distance of our condo. They have a wide variety of food. I ordered the grouper, and it was delicious!
Overall Salty Sue's was good; the service was good but not exceptional and the food was the same. The food was tasty for the most part with some exceptions. We had appetizers of fried pickles and fried green tomatoes which both were great especially with the sauces that came with them. For the main courses I had the brisket, which did taste good but was dried out. Also it came with sauce poured over it which I don't prefer, I would rather it be on the side in case I don't like it. Good news is the sauce was tasty and did help with the bit of dryness in the beef. The fire roasted corn that was a side was inedible, like it had been sitting in a warmer for a long time. The other side, the steak fries, were fantastic, well seasoned and crisp! The other main entrée my wife had was Jerked chicken leg quarters which she liked very much. Her sides, mashed potatoes and onion rings, were disappointing, mainly lacking flavor.
Do NOT judge a website by its cover! This place wasn't what I expected at all. The food was DELICIOUS! It took a little while for our food to come out but definitely worth it!! The Blackened Mahi and Fried Shrimp were fantastic! Lisa was a great waitress! If we are ever in the PCB area again, this place will be on our "must eat" list ?
