This is a great spot for locals and visiting families to Panama City Beach area. Cars and Coffee is hosted at this Panera location, with bagel Tuesdays and they can handle high volumes of guests at once, even though there is no drive-through. Great management and staff will always correct any mistakes if ever made and gets along very well with regulars and is very helpful to new customers also. LGBTQ friendly and very diverse.
My family and I went for a mid morning breakfast. The food was cold and did not give us any utensils. I had to wait to ask for these while the young staff was walking around talking about the past weekend activities. I made eye contact with them so no one seemed to care that I had a question. Cashier had forgotten to give us our pastry and again had to wait to get someones attention. Upon leaving I wanted to refresh my iced coffee to find the container empty. Again had to wait until I got someone attention to see if they would refill. I waited but no-one said how long it would take to refill. After 5 minutes We left. Needless to say we will not be back.
So I'm changing my older review from 5star to 1star today because the last few times I've been to the beach Panera the service has been terrible. It's the lack of service, nobody talks to you, and no eye contact. I finally used their kiosk and grab two cups and decided not to order food. Even the manager was walking in back and no interaction. Told the people walking in the door good luck on getting a person to talk to you.
My daughter says Mac and cheese is 5 stars a+.Service was very friendly and food was warm and yummy. Located next to target. Chicken sandwich was warm but the chicken was a little watery.my review is based on how happy the child was!! Definitely a quick lunch and plenty of seats. Enjoy.
Great healthy options and helpful staff. I ordered the sprouted grain flat bagel (toasted with 1 tab of butter) and a small coffee. Spacious clean table seating, a 2 chair reading nook, clean restrooms. Free wifi. Outdoor seating too. Free coffee refills.
Enjoyed a Frontega Chicken sandwich with my bonus onion soup and Passion Papaya Green Tea outside with the great weather. Service was fast and friendly. Thank you for a great experience!
I eat here frequently and the food and service is always good. No exception today except I have a question. What is the point of giving every customer a buzzer if the guy behind the counter yells your name out to the top of his voice. This is nerve-racking, rude and makes me never want to eat her again. The customers around me were very annoyed as well. Look it's simple. I don't need a heart check every three minutes. I just want to enjoy my meal in a relaxed environment. Mission not accomplished. Uggh ?
We ordered online while shopping in the area. Food was ready when promised. Couldnt quite check the order bc bag was taped. Got home and saw that we were missing part of our order. Called and spoke to LJ, he immediately said he would personally drive out and deliver the missing items even in the terrible weather we were experiencing. Honestly I was expecting Panera to offer some kind of credit the next time we came in. LJ went above and beyond making sure that we were able to enjoy our meal tonight. For this level of service I will definitely be back. Thank you LJ!
Welp, against my better judgement after reading the reviews we decided to come here anyways! They failed to successfully complete one single item in its entirety. The reviews you are reading are not one offs but a accurate representation of poor management, training, and quality. Avoid this place.
This Panera allows dogs to roam around the restaurant. The dog was under the tables eating food that had dropped. Then, the dog’s owner let the dog lick his plate. I’m an animal lover, but this was too much. Pets should not be in restaurants unless they are needed to assist the owner.
