Fun to watch them till the ice cream but more enjoyable to eat it! Husband had butter pecan rolls, I had a coffee malt shake with toffee bits that was so rich and creamy.

WOW! They really do hand roll your selection on the frozen counter! Hands and spatulas flying! COOL TO WATCH! Wide selection of flavors and combinations available! Staff was friendly, funny, and very nice! They interact well with young AND us older kids! LOL! Add some toppings and a spoon for a GREAT dessert!
First thing I'll say is the staff are the stars. The rest is what didn't earn the other 3. The staff were friendly, kind and had a good attitude. The place and icecream was kinda eh. We walked in and I smelled trash and strong cleaner like they are trying to cover up a rotting smell. I wanted to walk out but would have felt bad as the front lady was sweet. We ordered and got to do the sticky notes thing. Looking around it seemed like the place was a bit dirty but still had fun placing note. Then we got the icecream which was beautifully made. We left the place on account of the smell and because the music was so loud outside we couldn't talk so we sat in the car to eat it. My husband and I enjoyed the flavor even though it was a bit over sweet for me but it's icecream! Sadly a bit later my husband got a stomach ache and I also started to feel weird and got a headache. I am sensitive to bad ingredients in food for reasons but my husband can eat anything. For him to get a stomach ache is weird. Over all the staff are good, the business seems like it's run by a cheapo.
Very unique and worth the drive! Flavors are fun. Be sure to add something fruity to your base. They have a mango version that is non-dairy and very tasty. The owner even allowed us to test a few new flavors with his staff at the end of the day.... they close at 9pm and we were lucky to help taste test! Lol The store is very small, but if you can get a table, enjoy reading all of the hundreds of sticky notes on all the walls. What a unique idea! Fun FUN place to experience!
We had rolled ice cream at another business, and it was so much better. It was a few dollars cheaper here but nothing compared to our experience at Frozen Dune. Edited to add: The operator’s response regarding my review as being “impolite in mentioning another business”further cements my opinion in their lack of professionalism and inability to accept opportunities for growth. My review is intellectual property whether I want to be rude, impolite, or offer positive, constructive criticism. It is, however, extremely poor business practice to downgrade a reviewer for their experience rather than simply embracing room for improvement. Furthermore, as someone who appreciates reviews for guidance, I would love for other suggestions to be given within the same shop category. I would also consider it safe to assume that this business would gloat if their business had been the top choice and another shop was named as less than stellar.

Very nice and hardworking staff, but the rolled ice cream was very bland. My family had 6 different flavors and none of us thought it was good. Expensive too, wouldn't recommend.
There is so much variety of flavors in the shop. Kids love the large quantities in which they Serve. Loved the mango flavor, which has a fresh taste of alphonso mango. The flavors are all fresh and don’t seem to be made of artificial flavors and preservatives.
Was fun to watch and chill atmosphere even had a wall jukebox
