We walked across the street from where we were staying to eat at Mike's. Another place that is worth the wait too! However, i highly recommend you go sooner rather than later. They open at 3:00, go early as you can because you will wait later in the evening. We waited outside for 2 hours!! My favorite the raw oysters on halfshell. We were party of 5 and everything was yum-yum. We had great food and friendly service. I went back two more times. We sat at the bar and enjoyed Oysters Rockefeller & Oysters on half shell. Absolutely delicious!! See you next trip!!
The service was great, the food was fantastic, the shrimp w/ boom boom sauce for an appetizer was especially tasty and quite a surprise.
I can just keep typing and bragging about Mike's. We also meet some new friends here as well. The food, service and staff are so good, we ate here twice. My pictures can just tell you and make you see for yourself.
We really wanted to like this place! It was super close - within walking distance - of where we stayed. But the service was absolutely the worst we’ve experienced in longer than either of us can remember. The server couldn’t even be bothered to say hello. It took 20 minutes for her to take our drink order - we both ordered mojitos and the mint wasn’t even bruised, let alone muddled. The steamed shrimp and oysters were amazing, so that was a pleasant surprise. But the service was so horrible that nothing about the food could make up for it. We will not be back, and we would never be able to recommend this place to anyone. Florida natives - we know good seafood places. This is not one of them.
By far the BEST food and service we had the entire trip!! Also very reasonably priced and family friendly. It was cheaper than all the other restaurants in the area and completely blew the completion out of the water. It have everything for your entire family to eat: seafood-steak-pasta-kids meals. This a must stop early in your stay, because you will come a second time.
Ate here twice while in pcb. First time got Rockefeller oysters and second time I got fried gator bites. Oysters have never been my thing, but being by the beach I had to try. They were the best I’ve had so far!! Gator bites delicious and juicy. Strong drinks as well! My server Rosie was very thoughtful and attentive. She consistently came to check on me and my food/drinks. Cozy vibe, not too bright inside, come check it out!!
From the moment we entered and were seated,the service was great and staff were friendly and welcoming..We were quickly served water, our drinks and salads. The grilled shrimp dinner with wild rice and steamed vegetables was served HOT and fresh. The food tasted excellent! Kudos to Mike, we'll return for another wonderful meal! Go check it out for yourself.
Avoid unless you want to wait hours for a table and they do not take to go orders. Very disappointing service.
Good service, cold beer and fresh oysters. Can’t go wrong, a good stop while in Panama City Beach.
Wow! The waitress was very attentive! And the food was really wonderful. We had 6 people and we all got different things. From a basket of shrimp to red fish and cheese grits! The cheese grits were absolutely amazing! So was the seafood casserole and the shrimp tacos. Price was reasonable for the food we got! Oh and the Parmesan baked oysters were to die for! If you haven’t been there I encourage you to go!!!
