This shop was located in our resort and we stopped by around closing time (didn't realize it closed earlier in the evening). The employee was friendly despite the long line right before closing. The salted caramel was delicious and the scoops size is generous. Didn't really think the price was outrageous compared to other shops in the area.
Went in at 8:30 pm . I chose the cookie dough flavor which was very delicious . Wait time was not long & service was very quick. Definitely will be back.

Hello, I checked out of Laketown Wharf today and I was very disappointed in the condition of the room that I was in. Room 1614 needs an upgrade. The master bedroom bed felt like a blow up mattress. The blinds were dusty and ceiling fan was dusty. The shower curtain liner was mildewed and the there was water in the tub because the drain was clogged. With all this Covid going on I expected the room cleanliness to at least be up to par. If the management can’t afford to upgrade the rooms they should shut the unit down. We had 3 families there and there rooms were not outdated like the one I was in and I paid the most for my room. Somebody should have at least checked the condo before letting guest stay in a room with water sitting in the tub and molded shower curtain liner…it’s like these resorts just don’t value customer service like they use to.
Lots of walking! Elevators are too full no matter if you are going up or down. We have had painters on our balcony since we checked in. this is day 3.Nothing like paying this amount and not being able to enjoy the balcony during the day.
Our condo was clean and nice but however the staff was very rude and the elevators were horrible! Had to wait 15-20min just to get on elevator! It’s a very long hot walk to a very over crowded beach when your already upset ab spending 15min in a cramped elevator for 15min with no air with 10 strangers! We had to park our car in north parking lot and our condo was 1606 which was all the way far south! The staff said they would tow us if we parked in south! Very rude staff!
I was worried about staying here since the reviews were so mixed. We stayed in room 717 gulf view and the room was immaculate, clean, updated, and very roomy!! The pools were great! The only problem, as so many others said, are the long elevator wait times. Noise wasn’t an issue for use. Hope to stay in this room again. Booked through resort collection. They’re updating their new procedure for contactless check in and there was a little employee training to be done, but overall all was great!
We ended having a great time, but could have a more enjoyable experience had we not had to wait up to 30 minutes for an elevator each time we left our room. Can’t take the steps when you are on the 17th floor. Lots of unhappy people commenting on the situation as well. Wouldn’t stay again…. Unless I was on 1st -3rd floor. The whole situation hindered us from going out and doing more.
Great candy and ice cream. The butterfinger fudge a favorite.
