The food was absolutely amazing. Everyone in our party loved their food. The bbq had great smoke flavor and was tender. The Mac and cheese was great as were the beans. The best sandwich we tried was the beach boss. This will be my go to sandwich next time we are in the area.
I've been going to this place since it opened. I swear it just keeps getting better. Beef ribs on Friday and Saturday. I let.gate decide and I got my regular pork sandwich but the lady at the register gave me rib to try. If I ever had a better beef rib, I cant recall. This is definitely a must go to! It is AWESOME!
I am not a local but live about 45 miles (one way) from PCB but I had heard of Back Beach Barbecue for many months and I'm always looking for GOOD bbq so I made a trip to their restaurant . No lines, a few tables with couples at them. I told the front employees that I was there for the first time and heard that their Texas brisket was some of the best! They gave me a nice size sample that was hot, juicy and tasted great! I ordered a pound of brisket to go and what I got was BURNT to a crisp! I couldn't eat ANY of the bottom of the brisket, the bark was burnt! Not just the bottom but of the pound I bought, maybe I ended up with 1/4 lb of brisket!! I also bought large side items of baked beans and red potato salad. I might have gotten half beans and half sauce/juice? Not much taste to them and looked like they had been cooking for days...mussy! Potato salad was just ok. What a disappointment! I will never go back to this place...fool me once......
Must say this was probably the best barbecue we’ve ever had. We ordered the brisket sandwich, excellent, and 1/2 chicken and got 3 sides, Carolina Collards, Mac and cheese and potato salad, all threes were excellent, and all for under $40. The staff were all nice and smiling. They’re ere very busy and seating inside is limited but they do have outside sitting. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back to try something different!
Great food, perfect customer service and fun location!We passed by it a few times while being on 30A and we are so glad we finally stopped there.As we didn't really know wha to get the staff was extremly friendly, explained everything to us and let us taste a scope of one two things so we knew what we should order! The meat is fantastic... It mouthwatering, getting hungry just thinking about the food. We will be back for Lunch/Dinner but also to try Breakfast.
My sister and I shared a chicken sandwich, side salad, single Mac n cheese, and a single coleslaw. We couldn’t even finish it all! So much food and it was delicious!
On vacation and kids wanted BBQ. I found this place and the menu looked like something everyone would like. We pulled up and my husband says you know they mean business with 4 smokers. He was absolutely right! We got 1/2 ribs, 3 pull pork sandwiches, Monday special mother clucker, Mac n cheese, baked beans, & Brunswick stew. Really freaking good! The sweet & smoked bbq sauce AMAZING! Friendly service, very generous portions and fall off the bone ribs.The mother clucker did need more pull chicken as the sausage was overwhelming (huge) And the roof/ac vents were leaking. Not complaining at all just sharing experience. Highly recommend if you love bbq. Plus it’s really reasonably priced!
This was our favorite place to eat last year! We must have gone there at least 5 times, so we we're really excited to go again. The sandwich that my son got was all bark. He could barely chew through it. The sandwich that I got was pulled pork, it had quite a bit of cartilage that was inedible. We do like the beer selection in the metal tub!
Texas brisket hardly had a smoke ring nor smoke flavor. Inside of the brisket was flavorless unless you drowned with sauce...and that doesnt help much. Rub is the same on brisket as Butts.. Potato salad was tasty but Potato chunks were so big they weren't cooked properly. Greens were ok... need seasoning. Sloppy at best, we witnessed a few southerners laugh at the meat and we were embarrassed for this place... lastly... WAY TO EXPENSIVE FOR SLOPPY WANNABE BBQ... Shameful tourist trap
We had the brisket, ribs, turkey sandwich and sides. Great bbq off the beach with a large outdoor seating area. Would have eaten here multiple times on our trip had we not visited before our flight out!
