We have never been disappointed. The food is good and staff is always so nice and helpful. My family and I loves this restaurant so much that we had them deliver pizza to our local middle school for Teacher Appreciation Week.
The pizza was burned AGAIN for the 3rd time in a row. This place used to be remarkable, now it is awful. They have replaced the excellent Bossamo,'s cheesecake with their in-house attempt and it is awful. IT WAS Dried out and not creamy. I am done with this horrible excuse for an Italian restaurant. We have been customers of this restaurant for quite some time and the food has always been good. Tonight we ordered a pizza and it was 25 minutes late, and cold.So I contacted the restaurant and spoke to Cory(sp), the manager and he said they would send out another pizza, but I didn’t want to wait another hour. He got argumentative so I hung up. From now on it will be from Anthony’s.
Love this restaurant! The pizza is delicious. We are from Brooklyn, and you know how good the pizza is in NY. Finally, after 25 years of searching, we found a NY style pizza place. The restaurant itself is big and airy, and very clean. They have an extensive menu, and we can’t wait to try more Italian food. Jimmy and Bridget were very friendly and made us feel comfortable here. Try it. Ventura’s will not disappoint.

We are locals not even 3 miles away. Go often but the last few times either food or service was horrible. Last night ordered Greek salad as an APPETIZER with a extra dressing pizza to come once done with salad. Well salad came no extra dressing and within 8 minutes the pizza arrives. Our waitress was Alissa not sure if she just did not pay attention when we ordered or just did not care. She never came back to our table to ask how our dinner was or to see if we needed another beer or wine. Had to hunt her down to ask for more. Pizza did seem extremely doughy. Two weeks ago order a special pizza which included sausage. Pizza did not have one piece of sausage when brought to our waiters attention he went to kitchen and said cook wanted to see our pizza!!! So we sat and waited he returns said sorry. He did give us 10% off. BIG DEAL.. your calamari was not cooked one other time. So needless to say your place is going down quickly between poor service and food.
Stopped in for lunch, had never been before. 2 slices and a drink for a good price. Pizza was good quality service was friendly and restaurant is clean. Will definitely stop in again
I have ordered here for the past 3 years and have been generally satisfied. I usually order regular cheese pizza. I decided to try the Thick Cut Square Sicilian Cheese Pizza WOW what a major let down! Not sure why but the sauce was flavorless, very bland overall taste. We could only eat the outer parameter of the pizza because the entire inside of the pizza was super soggy and absolutely awful! I will never order this item again. Very Disappointed.
We were a party of five dinning in. I have had better service at dennys restaurant. The young man that took our order did not put it in correctly and he was told that we had an order to go as well and told him what it was. The order to go was not put in until we were completely finished with our meal, He did not even one time ask us how are meal was. We had to ask another waiter for refills on our drinks. We had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the to go order to come out. What a complete waste of time. I Will Not Be Returning to this establishment. Definitely not worthy of a return! The only reason I gave it a 2 star was because the food was good. Service definitely sucks!
The last few times we ordered pizza it was nowhere near as good as it used to be ... perhaps someone different is now making the pizzas. We'll be looking for a new pizzeria after many years as a Vettures faithful.
