Drinks prices were astronomical. Food was slow. Will not be going back.
Seated 20 minutes after our reservation time. Every group that came in after us were seated immediately. Food took long. Appetizers came out with dinner. Food was delicious. Waiter made quite a few mistakes. Wonât be back for awhile.
Extremely large portions, go there hungry!
Donât ask kitchen to do anything like toast a bagel extra or heat a sandwich. They donât listen even if waitress puts it in order
We have been customers of Lucky Dill since they opened on 19 near Alderman. I know things are hard right now, but ordered fish and chips. 2 1/2 pieces of fish and fries, 17.50. $2 for an extra pickle slice, and 8.25 for a small piece of cheesecake. This was not a $30 meal. Sorry.
Big sandwiches, good Happy Hour, but disappointed not knowing 2 for 1 drinks negated the $2 off Reubens deal.
We split a corn beef sandwich and it was more than enough for two people and too big for one to finish. Nice selection of drinks and a full bar. Wonderful environment and well worth a visit.
Food was great. Huge portions. You wonât leave hungry!
Went for Fatherâs Day Brunch
My wife and I just had lunch at this place after an appointment in the area. There is free off-street parking and the place appears to be well-maintained. The decor is in the New York Deli style and they have a very extensive menu. My wife said her cocktail was excellent and our food entrees were very good. They have a special where if you order a drink and entree you receive a free dessert. My wife said her black and white cookie wasn't good at all. My small apple strudel was ok, but it tasted like they used canned apple pie filling so it wasn't as good as fresh-made with fresh ingredients would have been. The service here was also very good. Based on the service and our entrees, we will give them a try again in future however, we'll likely skip the dessert, free or otherwise.
