We went with of group of 7 to Thirsty Marlin last ngiht. The food was very good. Our waiter Dylan was exellent. He was very helpful in explaining the menu and making sure out food came out to us quickly and correctly. We will be back.
Family went here on Mother's Day because they took reservations. Service was very good but food was maybe average at best. French fries were soggy, Cole slaw tasted like Walmart, my french dip was covered with cheese for some reason? Tea tasted like instant. One ordered fish and chips. They were tasteless! My wife's turkey wrap was ok. Grouper wrap was ok. Overall I would definitely not recommend this place! Just being honest. Improve!
We had the calamari for an appetizer and it was very good. The sushi, shrimp and burgers were all excellent. The waiter we had was very good and kept making sure we had everything we needed. A good place to eat.
Prices reasonable, portions generous, staff very good, and they set us up (12) in a private dining area.

I’m surprised that I have not reviewed this restaurant yet. We have enjoyed their seafood many times over the years. The coconut shrimp (which I had tonight) is one of my favorites. Husband usually has the fried shrimp (very good), but opted for the cheese burger tonight (3/2/22). Justin was our server, and he was excellent. He took our order after giving us time to peruse the new menu. He was quick to deliver our drinks, and the entrées came out hot. We were one of several tables for him, and he did his best taking care of us. The burger was delicious, according to my husband, as were the fries and slaw. But the onion bun was not good. He chose not to eat it. When he mentioned it to the manager on our way our, she apologized. Said supply issues mean that they must take what they can get. It was noisy tonight, so when we talked, we were straining our voices. Music got louder when we left. Outside areas for eating looked good, but they were not quieter. It was disappointing to us for it to be loud and busy on a Wednesday night. But we know it was good for the owners and servers.
The worst service and it's not even a restaurant. The staff didn't even know there was a sushi menu. We sat at the bar for 20 minutes. No one acknowledged us.
Went with group to play trivia and 2 of our 7 had to leave due to smoke. Bummer. Game fun, good food, but will look for another place. Very good service. Would be 4 stars if no smoke.
We always love Thirsty Marlin but our server, TRACY, made our night even more enjoyable than usual! She paid attention to every detail from suggesting awesome menu items, providing our favorite sauces and keeping the drinks flowing, all while being very friendly and fun! Tracy is a SUPER SERVER and really knows her stuff!! I try to stay away from breading, so I had the jerk chicken - so good! My husband killed the tuna nachos and the first thing he said when he woke up this morning was that he wanted more tuna nachos. Lol. We will always be back for more at Thirsty Marlin. But, next time we will look for Tracy because she knows we like our fries with extra tartar sauce!! Yum!
First let me say that every employee we came in contact with was friendly and attentive. They were very busy and the staff were really hustling but no one ever made us feel rushed in any way. Every bite of our food was delicious. My husband had the triple decker grilled cheese. It was huge and very delicious. I had the lobster salad wrap. It was also quite large and very good. We both loved the coleslaw. Their conch fritters are the best I’ve ever had. They were better than any I got in the Florida Keys or in the Bahamas! I HIGHLY recommend the Thirsty Marlin!
