I have ordered here in the past but noticed that the quality of food has changed. Spent $70 on a to go order and food tasted old (like it was cooked in a microwave)and not fresh...normally I enjoy my leftovers but I actually threw them away...I ordered the fried banana with ice cream which was the only thing that was good but they put the ice cream on top so by the time I got home...it was one big mushy mess.....won't be going back!

First time coming here. We wanted to try someplace new and came here based on the written reviews online. Went on Valentine's Day and they had lovely decorations for the occasion. It is a very spacious, clean, nicely layed out restaurant. We had 2 appetizers and 2 full Hibachi Dinners. The miso soup was hot and delicious and the salad was very fresh and the homemade ginger dressing was exceptional! Honestly everything was so fresh and delicious! Very ample servings. For me, next time I will order sauces on the side as the sauce it was cooked in was a little to heavy for me, but that's just me. Hubs loved that!... Their fried rice is very unique. I've never had fried rice like it before. It was flavorful but light!..... We'll be back again and hope that other's will give it a try. Oh.... the server's are excellent! Very kind and attentive.
The staff is wonderful, sat us even close to closing (sorry!). All of the food was amazing quality, and delicious from the squid appetizer to salmon sashimi all of their rolls are different and delicious. always fresh even on Uber eats.
Went here on 01/29/2022. Absolutely lived the food! They do not cook infront if you pike a traditional hibachi but it was still delicious!
The raw salmon and raw tuna nigiri I ordered was very fresh and nice size portions. The ginger and wasabi were high quality. The greeter and server were very friendly. The decor was nice but not exceptional. Parking was convenient since they're located in a strip mall. Since the restaurant is rated 4.5* on YELP, I was expecting something exceptional and I didn't find that. The dressing for my avocado salad was brought in a squeeze bottle, which turned me off. Both the dressing and the salad were ordinary. I wouldn't give iceberg lettuce 4.5*. If you live nearby or are looking for a sushi restaurant along Route 19, this restaurant might be perfect for you. I stopped because I was driving south on Route 19 from Holiday FL to Sand Key FL. I would stop here again if I'm in the neighborhood but would not go out of my way to visit.
Shogun always has fantastic presentation and taste when it comes to sushi. You can't go wrong when getting one of the speciality rolls.
