LOVE this pizza. When a place has ~5 stars it’s usually too good to be true, but Piper’s lives up to it. Great quality sauce.Favorites are: (1) Piper-Roni, (2) Pineapple Express + jalapeño. Also really good: (1) Marley Meatball, (2) Four Horsemen. Excited to try the next one!P.s. The photos I’m adding don’t do it justice. Will try to get better ones next time.
To say our visit to Piper’s was amazing would be an understatement. We had the meatballs, garlic knots, and the twisted margarita pizza. Everything was outstanding. The pizza specifically was so good. The crust was thin and so crispy. The cheese so delightful. Piper herself and the entire staff were so nice. I will definitely be back.
Listen, I’m a grouchy fat guy from Philly, I don’t say nice things about anything, but this place was fantastic. They stayed open late just to feed us and they were happy to do it. The pizza was perfect! Exactly the way it should be. Excellent! Thanks guys you rock! Go Birds!
Oh I can't thank fb enough for showing me the ad for this gem! There's only one other pizza place in Dunedin that is equally good. The cheese is amazing, like real quality mozzarella, the homemade sauce is delicious and the crust is perfect. Plus they have these ridiculously easily wonderful cinnamon glazed dessert knots. Definitely will be our go to pizza place from now on ?
Amazing pizza and amazing owners. It's a family run business with some amazing pizza. We had the Piperonni pizza with their hot honey, and it was insane. The owner made a smoked brisket pizza that was also amazing. Their meatballs are also incredible. We ended up coming back the next day and even took some food home with us (we are from out of town). The bar next door lets you buy a beer (they have a whole wall of taps) and you can eat it in the courtyard or in either business. Overall, a great pizza place! Can't wait till we come back!
This place is the real deal for pizza for sure. I am from NY and would put this pizza against most NY pizzeria's and guarantee they could come out on top. The crust is AMAZING (ignore the bad comment below, he doesn't know what good pizza is obviously). The owners of this place are TOP NOTCH!!! They were welcoming, and fun to chat with. They were appreciative of our business and let us know. I wished I lived in Tampa as I would make this my go to on a weekly basis. If you have not tried this place, you need to.Next time I am there, I will be going back for sure!
This place is the real deal! Amazing food. The meatballs were incredible and the pizza was phenomenal! So much flavor. They do a wonderful job with combinations. Do yourself a favor and make sure you get some pizza here. The Piper-Roni was amazing! Will be going back for sure!
Saw some recommendations on a FB foodie page about how good the pizza was here. Well, they weren’t talking smack! I personally don’t like pepperoni, but our friend with us wanted pepperoni. We order their specialty pepperoni pie and then a sausage and mushroom pie. Both were awesome! Crust had a great texture and great flavor. Really nice owner and staff. We will be coming back!
My wife and I are new to Tarpon Springs and we have been looking for a good pizza shop. There are many local choices and we have tried several. I must say that we haven’t had any bad experiences but none gave us that “Aha” moment until tonight when we ate the pizza from Pipers. Pipers pizza reminded us of the great pizzas that we’re accustomed to from the Northeast. We ordered our pizza with a crispy crust and it was certainly crispy! The crust held its shape and there was no need to fold the slice, although you could if that is your preferred way to eat a slice. We ordered a Goomba pizza and a Marley Meatball pizza. Both pizzas were absolutely delicious! The sauce was a perfect balance of ingredients; tomatoes with hints of fresh garlic, herbs, aged cheese and olive oil. The meatballs had true Italian taste and did not overwhelm the reminder of the pizza while the spinach added an extra depth of flavor. We are very pleased with the gem that we found and we can’t wait to try the other pizzas that Pipers offers. If you are looking for great pizza, you need to give Piper’s Pizza a try!
