Only ate there once. Called in an order. Service seemed OK, Gyro was mostly meat but very good. Would have preferred more balance with lettuce, tomato, sauce. Kind of busy but place did not look or feel clean. Was going to order again today (2 for one Wed) but read a lot of bad reviews. Based on that I'm not going back. I owned 2 restaurants in another state. Does Florida even HAVE a health Dept. That inspects food places? I've spent many years all over Florida. Never seen one being inspected, but I've seen a ton of dirty restaurants with horrible hygiene. Usually if dining room is dirty, you won't want to see the kitchen.
Not sure what’s going on with that place usually the gyros are good but the last one I got is one of the worst gyros I’ve ever had couldn’t even finish it because of the smell and extreme bitter taste of what is supposed to be feta cheese, taste like it’s completely gone bad! Hopefully was just a bad day because good lord that was terrible
In our group we had gyros, cheesesteaks and chicken sandwiches. All were very good. The fries are outstanding and the onion rings were pretty good also. Had to take the cheesecake and cannolis were brought home as we were too full…
As always...delicious and served by nice people. It gets busy there, but that is just further proof of the delicious food that awaits. I have wanted to try this place for a few years after passing by multiple times. Firehouse has a better cheesesteak that includes a bunch of veggies. We were not impressed with the food for the price. Additionally, I was greeted at the counter from a gal with food in her mouth. Not professional and quite gross.
We love their gyros - even when it’s not BOGO Wednesday. Tonight we got two, and resisted the temptations (cheesecakes and cannolis). One day we’ll try other menu options. Not tonight.We did notice two cash registers - one for cash & one for both. Convenient and speedy. Also, they are no longer affiliated with pizza place next door.It wasn’t too busy tonight, especially at 5:15. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
Food is good, but take out order is always messed up. It's either missing basic utensils or as simple as ketchup packet. You can order a Mediterranean gyro but they will give you a plain. Not to mention place is dirty and 1 worker always looks high.

Gyro King has messed up our order 3 consecutive times. All 3 times they have refused to deliver the correct food. We ordered a gyro under the “we want it all” option for toppings and received a plain gyro. Manager claimed it was our mistake and that we didn’t order correctly. Manager refused to credit the sandwich because “he wasn’t going to lose the sale”. Mind you, we already have a credit there from our last incorrect order. Manager wanted me to return the incorrect gyro for the correct gyro, which we’d ordered on Uber Eats, so that defeats the purpose of Uber eats. Furthermore, what exactly did he plan to do with the plain incorrect Gyro that he wanted it back? We previously ordered often, and will never order again.
Best gyro. Best everything. My family has been eating here for 15+ years and never once had an order be messed up or be less than fantastic
